Sam, thanks for this review! The urban Xplorer Is definitely my new every day cane. I have been using the all-terrain thing as my every day.cane. But, the urban X is my most definite every day came. I have been using it for four weeks and find it perfect for my needs. Thanks again for the review! I just used it for a little off-road and multiple environments touring Niagara Falls the water, stairs, pathways, and trails or easily navigated using this new game! Three cheers to Sedona, Dave

Wednesday, September 4, just watched your video. I'm so glad that he included the bungee stop. as you said, the Ambutech canes have those and they are great. I think it's so cool that you like to collect canes. I enjoy seeing various canes as well. I also had a chance to meet Sedona Dave a couple of years ago. It was awesome.

I have never been able to find a proper key for me, I always seem to break them, get them stuck in car doors, or sometimes they even fall down so great. But, I very thoroughly much enjoy this cane. I actually own two of them, I bought the large and it wasn’t quite large enough for me, so I bought the extra large, and gave the large one to my wife. Somehow my dome tip came apart, and I was only left with the little small piece, and they graciously sent me another one.

Great video and product! Could you please pass on the idea of making the bungey cord replaceable as that part wears out the fastest sometimes?

Hey Sam, great review as always. The cane sounds pretty interesting. I do like the idea of the mushroom rollerball that sounds really interesting but one concern I have a question I have you said it comes peace. Well that really kind of what happens when you fold it up because then your little rubber that would stretch down and go over the ends to keep them Together so you can put it on a table or desk or wherever now it has to go over top of the roller ball or whatever tip you have on it to keep it closed. Am I missing something or is that how this works because that would be probably a no go for me, thanks for the great review Sam always your channel

Quick question, can you lean all your weight on the UX like the ATC? Like, could you use the UX (5 section cane) to hike with as a replacement to the ATC (3 section cane)? PS, Thank you Sam. Legally blind past 9 years and only found out earlier this year I have RPGR. Blind, but can see. I barely used my VR options because I didn't want to step in front of the line blocking someone who is completely blind. Your videos helped me see that legally blind, is blind. I'm using all VR options that are available in TX. Once again, thank you Sam.

Hi Sam! Thank you for this info. And thanks to your friend for inventing this all terrain cane! I live in FL, we have TONS of hiking here, nature trails.... would be great for that! I have an NFB cane, and it is tall-- it was measured by determining how high my nose is. The top of my cane touches my nose, because this was the best length for my stride, and the way I tap my cane. Some people roll, or sweep, or tap tap tap, like me. ;-) My cane also has a metal tip-- great for determining ground surfaces--concrete, or asphalt? Are you in FL, with those cicadas? They are LOUD here! I'm in north FL. I have a telescopic cane, and some segmented kinds too. I can't decide which i prefer. There is something satisfying about sliding that cane together, rather than folding it up hahah. Details, details..... There is also nothing as fun as letting your spring loaded segmented cane pop to life! Sam, do you get a lot of people asking you what 'that white stick' is for? You'd be shocked--maybe not--at how many people just do NOT know what a white cane is! Even when it has a red bottom! I almost got in a knock-down-drag-out fight with a guy at Mardi Gras once because my metal cane tip just happened to tap him a little too hard on his ankle. How was I to know he was there?!! And once he found out I was blind and not b.s.ing him, he was ok, sorry sorry..... But still, yeah, it's shocking. And I know I am ALWAYS being watched when I use my cane. It's just the nature of the beast. Hell, I have a little sight, and even *I* watch my blind friends as they try to traverse this crazy world....... Hey Sam, I have GOT to check out that drone you have there!!!! How much fun was that???? I would so love to see it in real action. Is it loud? I was surprised at how loud some drones are, the smaller ones too, when they are 80+ feet in the air! I could hear it up there fighting against the wind. Your drone there looks nothing like any I've seen. Must finish watching your video now. Thank you, Sam!!! -Molly in north FL

Es un gran comentario. Ojalá yo mismo tuviera el valor de andar por el mundo con esa indiferencia. En Acapulco simplemente el entorno es hostil y tengo que andar por la ciudad prudentemente.

I have a cane with a shock absorbing spring handle. Is there any chance that these canes might feature that in the future?
@farelheart50314 ай бұрын
Not sure why, but I had never heard of werewolf gear before and I am wondering if the cane tips they sell work on any or most other brands of canes? I have an Butte graphite folding cane and I use a roller ball, but I’m certainly open to using other Styles of tips, but I’m wondering if the werewolf tips would work on my king? I like the idea of the multi colors that are available. Can anyone or Sam answer this question. Thank you for the video. In fact, thank you for all of your videos. They are always immensely informative and helpful.

do the hook tips work with all canes??

The cane has to be set up to work with a hook tip. The tip hooks onto the bungee cord inside the cane.

How do you measure for a cane like this?
@johnhaynes7104 ай бұрын
why does the us have a red stem on their white canes. red on a white cane indicates someone who is deaf and blind here in the Uk, so how do you show that in the USA please.
@thisisdominic80134 ай бұрын
No sé si funciona igual en USA, espero que sí, pero en México el rojo sobre un bastón blanco indica que el usuario es ciego, mientras que el verde advierte de sordera y ceguera en una persona.
@theblindlife4 ай бұрын
We don’t really use different colors to represent different vision impairments here in the US. The white cane with the red section is pretty much standard for all types of blindness.

Sam, can I use which video editing software you use? My Mom died recently, and I'm all alone now. I have a home and 5 acres in the country, and now I'm bored. I want to make some videos, but I have no idea what software to use. Do you just use KZbin's software? Is it blind-friendly? Easy to use? I'd be so appreciative. I don't know what to do with my time now. I wanted to start a YT channel of me--a legally blind 56F--doing around the house simple fixes.....for the blind.... I don't think there is a channel like that. And I need something to do! But I don't know which software to use. Thank you, Sam. I've been watching you for years now. -Molly

Wrong. If you’re tall and a fast walker, you need at least a 67 inch cane. If you are my height, you need something that’s at least 69 to 72 inches.
