Good video! No disrespect intended. what is the point of the stack here? It seems to provide a better picture without video or stacking. I am new so maybe missing something?.

Seestar app is so much better than dwarf. I mean dwarf to lock in caki rate so much more manual than seestar. Not only that ive seen dide by side video of the moon. Dwarf 2 looks so soft not very good. Sd50 fantastic plus its on touch function. Dwarf its like a camera whith all the white balance awb all that stuff like a pro mode. Point and lock. Thats the way especially for a multiple of beginners.

I put it outside my door close it and great fantastic pics comparable to rigs thousands of dollars. It's just technology. The old way of watching the stars is fading little by little. I don't even need to post an edit. It does it. People are not going to spend thousands and thousands of dollars and still have to stay outside and calibrate. It's the iPhone of a photography man. Step up.

23:35 hardware vs software video decoding options. Software decoding is usually slower and is energy inefficient, leading to warmer phone and wasted battery. Hence "hand warming" description. Sounds unprofessional and confusing to users adding jokes into software.

im on a 2k budget and think im going to get the Seestar and celestron 6se instead of just the 8se. I'm hoping the 6se will be adequate for lunar and planetary and can be upgraded to good later

I love my Seestar telescope as a beginner. Very easy to setup and watch on your smartphone. In the normal telescope it is nice to watch directly, but it strains your eyes a lot within 15 minutes of searching and viewing. I wish Seestar comes up with a small guiding scope, specially to view objects in scenary mode. But it is good to have a normal refractor telescope along with the Seestar.

Welcome back. Tried last night but clouds rolled in, fail. After Seestar finds the comet, I wonder if you can switch over to scenery mode, find it and track it? I will try when my sky's clear.

I let seastar level first on the moon, then search for Tsuchinstan, it didn't go on stargazing automatically then, probably because it was still not dark enough: going on scenary mode quickly, the comet was in focus to take a picture in scenary mode 😅

I force stop the ‘go to’ so i can see it on stargazing even thought not dark enough outside and it works but I will be trying scenery mode tonight!

Do you know about a new Seestar model coming out about Christmas? It is going to correct for sky rotation. Or maybe give wider field of view. It has a ‘ guide’ lens above the main objective lens. This is‘inside’ information. Thanks. Terry.

Thank you for the explanation of the new software. Unfortunately, I can't use my Seestar that was delivered yesterday... it's raining and very stormy (west coast of Northern Germany). WI-FI 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz: 2.4 will be better if you are further away from your house, even if the speed is a little slower. If you still want to use 5 GHz, I recommend a repeater....

The advantage of now having the new press only once to open the arm, is that you can't do what I did. I accidentally held the down arrow too long until the arm was nearly closed, causing a lot of what sounded like gear crunching, I had to hold the shutdown button on the back to stop the gears grinding. I've tried photo/video of the Sun and moon and it seems ok. When the skies clear I'll try it on deep sky objects.
