Have you tried to stack the once in a lifetime Comet 12P/Pons-Brooks? It's out there now.

I was just trying it tonight but my skies aren’t clear enough! Despite that, it really does look green right away as soon as the stargazing picks it up. I hope to try it tomorrow if it’s clear or another clear night soon 😃

now once you have stacked it and zoomed in. would you then do the screenshot it to get the zoom?

Zooming is a basic touchscreen function. Pinch and spread your fingers. If you haven't done it or seen it done it can be frustrating. You might not have a touchscreen computer. There are key strokes and menu options that control zooming too.

@@johndaley9188 thanks, i meant there isn't a way in the app to do it that I don't know about. just zoom in and do the screenshot appears to be the only way

Ah.. i just used my seestar for the first time tonight. I couldn't find where my videos went cause they didn't save up my phone. It seems the two options in the album may have it. If i click on the seestar icon

Yes 😃

you will always have green in any picture simply because of earth atmosphere. You always need to apply a greenfilter.

Just downloaded firmware update 2.42. Not sure what changed yet.

I’ve been playing with the new manual lens feature. You can lift the Seestar lens with the push of the arrows on the homepage now. This will come in handy for installing and taking off the solar filter during the eclipse. The new manual exposure for solar may be real good too but haven’t had the chance to try it.

Good info. I wasn’t really impressed with the 1st photos I’ve taken of the moon ( just didn’t seem sharp) but I’ll have to give these instructions a try. Thanks for the videos you’ve put out.
