You know how antilight can be used to kill spren or fused. I wonder what will happen if the gems inside the pummel of the deadeye Shardblades are filled with antivoidlight. Will they kill fused?

I was originally thinking the book would cover a lot more than 10 days. Now that we've spent 10 chapters on one day with Kal and Shallan. We still have all the Szeth flashbacks to get through and other character povs. I'm starting to think maybe it will be 10 days which totally changes my perspective on a lot of things. A Moash/Kaladin confrontation would be sort of anticlimactic at this point. I don't see Moash as a worthy adversary for Kaladin. I don't know how you even get them together logistically in a way that makes sense when last time we saw him he was defeated and blind. Leswhi and Rayse were his only "allies" among the enemy and they are both gone now. If anything I kind of expect him to try to turn himself in or try to redeem himself now that he felt the pain of killing Teft and it got him nothing. He knows he can't defeat Kaladin. The only thing Moash had on Kaladin is that Kal still thought he could be redeemed. Now Kal seems to be over this. Kaladin would defeat him so easily. Can Azimir fall in just 10 days? It is a pretty big city and now they know the attack is coming. With Kholinar we had months of build up with the corrupting of the queen, refugee crisis, barely any defenders in the city. I could have seen maybe the shattered plains being taken over just because there isn't great fortifications there and it's already been getting raided and stuff. Odium couldn't even take Thaylen city which was freshly devastated by the storm, they had the element of surprise in that nobody had fought a thunderclast in thousands of years, they were able to brainwash almost the entire defending army, and they still couldn't capture the city. Now I'm supposed to believe Odiums forces can capture Azimir when they know an attack is coming. They have had like a year to accommodate the new tactics of how to fight the fused. I'm not sure you can do the whole Syladin thing in 10 days. Also you have to deal with the BAM situation somehow and the Adolin/Maya stuff. Anyways I will be curious to see if there is a time skip in the next chapters. It totally changes what can plausibly take place in the book.

I'm still sticking to the idea that Syl wrote the epigraphs, for just a bit longer, since I think it's likely that she'll get "humanized" and then separated from Kal and Szeth, and then our dynamic duo changes something about their quest(maybe the Wind tells them something)

Sorry for all the comments... I think it might require a Radiant with the Surge of Transportation to directly move from Oathgate to another without stopping at Urithiru. And note that this might be why Odium DOESN'T do it: the Fused with the Surge of Transportation (like the Defeated One) can't bring other people. So this would be an ability reserved only for the Radiants. Just so happens that Venli is one of those, AND she had that 'mystic experience' with stoneshaping in Urithiru in RoW. I could easily see her swearing her Third Oath, summoning Timbre as a Blade, and directly teleporting the Listener/Chasmfiend army directly to Azimir as part of the Sanderlanche.

I have a feeling that poetic justice will happen to Moash. Kaladin will have him at Syl-point, then spares Moash's life, keeping in mind that Moash always keeps saying that Kaladin is the only one that can kill himself. Moash will kill himself.

Perhaps the author of KoWT is... Renarin? I thought this when you were musing and realized that might be why Renarin was not at the party; because otherwise he would have known about the quest. Of course, given that this is RENARIN we're talking about, I can't see how he couldn't see (pun intended) that this quest would happen. I'm so interested in knowing exactly how much Renarin sees vs. how much we see him see.

Probably late to this, but when the Stormfather said to Kaladin “Child of Tanavast. Child of Honor. Child of one long since departed” I think the one long since departed is the Wind. I always remembered that line because people always focus on the child of Tanavast part.

Remember that Kaladin asked Syl if there was any way out of his conflicting oaths in Words of Radiance. Syl told him to find the Words. While the Third Ideal did resolve it (on its face), it left as you note a lot of problems because he still wanted to save Moash. His FOURTH Oath, though, relieves him of his issues, and now Syl should be okay with honoring Teft's memory by offing the POS.

Two weird/seemingly inconsistent things i these chapters 1.) no renarin at rlain's party 2.) the Spren being lashed. The spren should resist being Pushed/Pulled/Lashed etc just like a shardblade or any other heavily invested entity

The more Kaladin says goodbye the more I get convinced he won't die. At least not fully. It's too heavy handed.

Also, more evidence for Syladin, Adolin looks at Syl when he says they will meet for drinks at the end.

I wonder if Taravangium will reveal himself to Dalinar and convince him to help with the rest of the Cosmere. And then Dalinar may willingly give up his soul. Or something along those lines. Taravangian has definitely come up with some crazy plan.

Rereading Way of kings, considering Dawnshard, I realized Rysn was first introduced in Shinovar out of all places. Now, by way of symetry, and as she now holds a Dawnshard, that of change, I wonder. Will Rysn meet with Kaladin in Shinovar and help Child of Tanavast repair Honor and ascend? Also, epigraphs do feel like Jasnah's, the Veristitalian, in search of... truth.

Could Venli be the author of Wind and Truth? She's the only main character scholar who probably doesn't know about the mission.

My guess is that Zeth is the one who will put the traitor a.k.a F-face down for good. I am theorizing that after some fight Kaladin will have the traitor at sword point but will stay his hand because he not the type of man to end someone for personal revenge. Then Zeth will step in to put F-face down since F-face will not go away on his own. For anyone wanting a visual example of how this could play out look up I am that guy Expanse here on KZbin.

I am fully convinced of Syladin, now. I have been denying it ever since that little scene at the end of Oathbringer when she was looking at the rock in Kaladin's hand. (Also, keep in mind Wit and Jasnah's relationship. Wit is 10k years old.)
