My grandma used to always say, “First you wash them real real good”, every time we’d ask her how to cook something. This brings back memories.🥰

Wow I have never seen rice pudding h cooked like this, my mum put hers in the oven for hours, we would be sneaking to open the door to see if it was done yet and god help you if we got caught, that brown skin on top was worth the wait, yours looks so good .

Mother, I know everything you make looks and is just delicious. I'm making these crab cakes this weekend, thanks for the recipe. If I were there, I would've given you $100.00 and taken them all for myself. Bless you, mother.

I understand gleeming from someone but for the lady she deserve a residual check every month unless you are cursed in your business. Some people ask show me help me and go make money. No a good idea.

New subscriber!! I love this presentation!! Mrs. Mae is absolutely beautiful!! The kind of mother that keeps her family fed!! The onion is new to me as well the next time I make oyster fritters I’ll definitely add it. I’m from MD. Old Bay is a go to for me in most things. I’ve heard about the months with the letter R. Her family is beautiful. They all look like ladies in my community. The final product looked delicious!! Looking forward to seeing more from your channel. My sincere condolences in the passing of Mrs. Josephine. ❤😢

Our staple in SE Texas as well is old bay for seafood. Love fried oysters. Mountain oysters are good like this too. Save that juice Its the same way ya save some of the broth of the chk to the side as well when making dumplings. I have my grandmother's fork as well. Will not part with it for no amount of money. Hope you come back to cook. Just came across the channel. Sure like to see Mae's cook up some fried green tomatoes 😋

It's so important to remember these recipes from the expression. Older people that have the wisdom of time. passed out along so that their recipes are not forgotten. It is so important.
