That looks amazing! I watched a girl make it yesterday and she rinsed her rice 4 times besides soaking!!! And used almond milk. I think almond or coconut would be fine but you need that startch. It looked grey!!! See our Grandma's know best. It was family recipe she had but changed it too much. Rice pudding I love. My best friends family use an egg and cook and serve pudding and vanilla, with instant rice. It's actually pretty good for a quick version. So I was excited to see the pudding! Thank you Grandma! 😊

My eyeballs are rolling around in my head from watching so many rice pudding videos trying to find the recipe I remember my granny making that I loved so much. 💕 Yours is finally the one. I can remember as a child she put a box of vanilla pudding, not instant, the kind you cook, just like for banana pudding, in her rice pudding, along with the raisins, etc. And you guys are using a bag of rice, that's how I remember it, plenty of rice. The other recipes only use a cup of uncooked rice or 2 cups of cooked rice. That's just enough to aggravate you! This recipe is just how I remember it, and tonight I'm going to make your lovely grandmother's rice pudding! Yay! My grandmother made rice pudding from a 100 year old recipe and I was trying to remember how she did it. This one is close to hers. Except she made it in a deeper bowl and no raisins. I have had it both ways and it is good either way. The old ways always taste the best. I really appreciate your grandmother showing her secret recipe.

Grandma is beautiful. Good work ladies! Remember to take something for blood sugar balance. Nopal Cactus or something because the sugar from the rice as well as the added sugar, will send your blood sugar through the roof! Also, I use RAW sugar and never the white stuff. Important. Love you ladies!
