I have a 2020 Jetta SE with the cold weather package. I love my Jetta, I agree with you that at first I wasn't a huge fan of the large grille but it quickly grew on me and I love the way it looks now. I think the more boxy Euro look is amazing, I've always loved that classy understated look of most German vehicles...it's like they're classy and they know it but they don't need to flash it all around and show off. The car is plenty peppy, I've never thought it needed more power than it has. Quick takeoffs, it climbs mountains with ease, it's fairly quiet the engine doesn't sound overworked. I follow VW's maintenance schedule to a T and it's always been serviced at the dealer I bought it from and have had no problems at all with mine. It's now 4 years old and has 52,000 miles on it. It's comfortable on a trip and gets amazing MPG, usually on a road trip it averages in the mid 40's, which is so nice at the pump, I didn't expect that when I bought it. Around town it gets in the mid 30's, which is respectable. I like that it doesn't sit as low to the ground as most small cars, it's easy to get in and out of, my dad has a 2020 Kia Forte and it's very hard to get in and out of and sits way to low to the ground. I'm 6'3" and another thing that amazes me about my Jetta is the front legroom, it's the only car I've ever had that I don't keep the seat all the way back in, it actually has more legroom than I need...I love that about it. I had knee surgery and I can actually stretch my leg all the way out, which is so awesome and makes long drives much more comfortable. The steering is so nice, it's tight and feels sure footed on the road. In bad weather it runs like a champ. I've had small cars that feel so light and unsafe in heavy rain or snow but not the Jetta, it feels planted and safe. The only things I'd say I wish it had are ventilated front seats, the black leatherette can be really hot in the summer (I think that's an option on the higher trims). Also, in the same vein, I wish it had AC vents in the back seat. It does have heated seats in the front and back and heated windshield wipers which is nice in the winter. Overall I'd give my 2020 Jetta 10/10, the quibbles I have are so minor and the good by far outweighs any bad.

I wish it had telescopic steering. I find myself unable to see the speedometer and also a comfortable seating position.

The sport mode is really good! Not sure why you’re saying it’s not a sporty car, unless you didn’t try and engage sport mode or the paddles. That might be a big miss on your part

I live in an area where im limited in the number of car brands. Dodge, GM and ford. The 300s fits my love for a big sedan without having charger stigma. The impala isn’t luxurious enough and ford doesnt rly have a higher hp sedan anymore.

I think it’s important to understand that this is a family car. If you want an SUV from VAG that is more precision tuned you should look at the Q5

You missed the main annoyance, that's the angle of the headrests! They're set at a dangerous angle forward. Ergonomically, the headrests should be parallel with the front of the seat backs. The stupid angled headrests, that so many cars have, force people to crane their heads forward and causing major strain on their necks. They should be illegal and there should be a recall and replacement for any headrests that are made like that.

Mazda Miata comparison? That is ST _ _ _ _ . Otherwise, great review. The comparable is a version of the Audi TT. The Audi coupe has more storage and is a Terrific car. The Boxster wipes the floor with the Audi TT roadster, but the Miata? That is just insulting.

Just bought one of these yesterday. Traded in an ‘07 F150 XLT Super Cab and the ‘19 XLT Crew Cab isn’t in the same league, it’s not even the same game. Things have changed so much and for the better. White, like yours but with 302A and Chrome trim packages. Among the options are the 36 gallon gas tank, tow packages and heated mirrors. I’ll probably be discovering features for 3 months, trying to speed that along by watching review and “tips” videos. Best one so far: since it came with 2 keys it was easy to find the keyless entry code, which the dealer didn’t have. Bought it in Lebanon, MO and by the time we got home to Billings, MO I’m pretty sure I lost control of it to my wife. She loved driving this 3.5L/10 speed monster (I still couldn’t drive after waking up with a pinched nerve in my neck on Wednesday). I feel like the only women who wouldn’t like a nice F150 are the ones who haven’t driven one yet. Good review! I’m sure someday I’ll find some negatives but for now it’s all love and roses for our “new” F150. My thanks to the previous owners, they took great care of it.

I know this video is old, but I just got one, I sat in 1 at a car show back in 2011, I was like it's small but I like it, I said I will get one later, sure enough I did, 2024 I just got 1 1/2/2024. It's fun and a good looking car, going to try and replace all bad parts and keep it like new.😊😊😊

My complaints about this Terrain is the low turn radius, small gas tank, and the lack of pickup. I can deal with the gear shifter, it becomes habit after a few months of driving. Just my opinion.
@jameswilson86508 ай бұрын
I have the 300S AWD and the sport mode is the best I've ever drove. The power is much quicker and the steering does tighten up and changes the turn ratio. It has three steering settings with it out of sport. Comfortable, normal and sport which you can feel the difference in all three modes

I just bought a used 2016 SEL with the non-EcoBoost 6 (I had this engine on my other Ford and it has been trouble free). So far I love this car. What I like better about the older Edge is the design of the front end and taillights and that it has an actual gear shift instead of the knob selector. Very nice vehicle to drive.

I just picked up one of these. I enjoyed your review, but I think the car has more than adequate power for what it is. When driving on the interstate, merging into traffic, etc., I don’t feel any lack of confidence. My four-cylinder makes me feel like this car is punching above its weight. And the gas mileage is amazing
