I test drove the Ultimate 2.0T and loved it. I wouldn't even consider the 2.4. Too slow for my liking. I'm 6'2, 252 lbs and had no issue with the rearview mirror or tailgate opening.

Thanks for the comment, A.R. So after doing some further research the rear hatch height when open can be adjusted. The one I drove was set to a lower height.

Great review.we own non turbo version still has pretty good power. Hyundai hands down has great bang for buck anyone who needs a good stylish vehicle and doesn't want to commit all their spending money would be wise to check these out. I've owned an 04 santa fe since New it now has 300.000 on it with regular oil changes at 3000 mile intervals with conventional oil.we also own 09 santa fe and a 2020 model. Absolutely no issues.

I actually own the SEL Plus and love it. I average about 29 to 31 mpg. Perfect trim level for your money. I do wish I had the pano roof though.

Nope. I’m happy with this trim. As going to Limited wouldn’t have added that much to it.

We have owned a 2019 for a year. My biggest issue being 6 ft tall is having to bend my head sideways getting into the front seat. The A pillar isn't very high with the long slope of the windshield.

I love my new 2019 2.0T Ultimate! I don’t encounter any of the gripes. The lift-gate is definitely made for the garage because I am able to lift mine in the garage. I love Hyundai for the value, warranty, and quality. Even after an 18 wheeler totaled my 2013 Sonata there was barely any damage. Apparently it was totaled under the hood. No airbags deployed .My 13 year old and I were fine and to get nearly 9k for a 2013 Sonata (I got new) base model and upgrade to a 2019 Santa Fe Ultimate 2.0T with all options except AWD because I don’t need that has been awesome. Well thanks for this video, I was driving a 2018 santa fe and was a really reliable vehicle, two issues as I remember to be taken care on the dealer but nothing big, I have now the 2020 for a week so far and it's another totally different car, safety first in this car, engine power I guess is very similar, they both are the second trim from bottom to top but few things are missing now other new.. For example the dual ac is missing now but never were used before so.. The turn signal light on the door mirror are missing but now I have a kind of blind spot sensors on the mirror (missing before) I found the inside a little more spacious, driving I can see the engine hood and I like that, the other hood goes like down so can't be seen.. So far so good, maybe I change my mind in 30 day when I start to pay for it lol

Btw the trim is SEL power driver seat, the nice screen on dashboard for the speedometer and menu/setting/info what Im personally missing now is a better audio system and the power rear door.

The rear hatch on the power hatch models is adjustable...it can be set to open at a higher height. BTW, I own the 2020 Santa Fe SEL with AWD and the 2.4 L engine.

We own a 2019 and a 2020 SEL models with the 2.4 engine. They are perfectly adequate for every day driving and can average 32 mpg on hwy. Curious, I see round Gauges for speedo and Tach. in your car ? None here in the US have the round gauge cluster seen in yours ??

I have no problem adjusting my rear view mirror for best vision at all. Overall vision is x-lent all around.

I think this is the SE trim. Bc it's lacking heated & power seats.
