Does anyone know if there is a specific sealing for a chimney which is still used?

I've seen videos using exercise balls and ropes... I like your PVC idea because it seems like it would support the weight of snow better. My problem is that the water must not see sunlight. In the winter, we add chlorine and algaecide to prevent bio fouling. But UV will break down those chemicals and eventually allow the water to begin turning green. I used a cover with a siphon pump last year, but the water on top was gunky and a bunch of junk poured into the pool. Took forever to clean that out. I purchased a top that has reinforced grommets around the periphery. My plan is to use a cable to pull the top tight and let the water spill off the cover, but without a bunch of supports, the cover will stretch and tear. I don't know what the final solution will look like yet but I appreciate your ideas- it has sparked a few thoughts.

ya dealership quoted me 96$ to change that little light. i said no maybe next time. i drove off to a parts store spent $9 for 2 lights and then at home spent 2 min to change it. i always google and youtube repair jobs before doing it at a dealership, oh ya the time before they wanted to charge me $70 for air filter and install. cost me $20, cool thing though the mechanic came out as i was leaving and showed me how to do it myself. even they think the company over charges

Man, I need a video on how to replace the headlights on these cars. I can't figure it out for the life of me and nobody has a video anywhere. I can remove the dust cap but can't see how anyone can possibly get the bulb out of there. Some forum posts say you have to remove the whole front end of the car and pull the entire headlight assembly out. Others seemingly are able to do it from under the hood, but none of them have any video or even pics.

I saw another video where you can also hold the AC power and defrost at the same time for 30 seconds then it resets. Or The green plug you can see if you go further underneath that area he was working on. It’s like a fuse looking thing but it’s a connector “green” you can unclick it look to see if it’s in tacked then put it back in if it’s good. It will also work. I heard sometimes it works for about a yr then try to do the same thing over until that part you changed actually needs to be replaced. 😊

To release the hose from the valve just push on the tab on the opposite side you stuck the pick in and it pops right off.

This is a beyond shit car. My car is old (2002) but things are starting to break one after the other, first the sunroof broke right after opening it, a week ago I open my trunk and glass, both, and now both are broken. This car is falling apart and breaking and it’s extremely fucking convenient it’s happening right after my car got stolen by the fucking 13% accounting for 50% of X, and I just got this piece of shit.

This video was very helpful. My code says the Canister Valve purge. I’m looking at Rock Auto for the part. My question is should I replace the just the canister or would it be better to replace the whole part? I’m leaning towards replacing the whole part so I won’t have to go back and do it again, but I want to make sure.

no, you shouldn't take off the timing belt. if anything, you MAY have taken off the serpentine belt.

How did you connect the coax to the wire hanging down from the opener? There is no input for the connector on the Craftsman unit. Chamberlain units have an input. Plase advise. Your KZbin is great. Thank you.

I stripped back the shielding on the coax and stripped back the wire on the antenna connection, and used a wire nut to connect them. it is crude, but it has been working ever since
