Should have run the garden hose over it to simulate rain to see if it works as advertised. I’m using 2x4’s and harbor frieght clamps to hold the tarp tight on the frame. That with this plan will be like a perfect tent.

I thought you were supposed to wrap those back ties around the seat belt bolt for a tighter fit…? I could be wrong, but that’s what I do and no problems.

Question about this unit: Does it have an "agree to the terms" screen each time it turns on? I currently have a similar double din Dual branded Android Auto radio, it drives me nuts that I have to tap agree each time the car starts up before it will show Android Auto. Thanks for your great vids, you earned a sub!
@JUSTTRYITDIY2 ай бұрын
it does not. I have been very happy with it. it boots up and loads Andriod auto everytime.

Thanks man! Appreciate these quick and to the point videos. I recently purchased a wrecked 2005 Ford Escape. It was hit in the rear. Attempting to remove the full tailgate for a replacement. Got the plastic panel off and it looks similar. Gonna be tough to release the latch as well as pushing/pulling the smashed tailgate. I'll give her another go tomorrow. Also, I noticed the Polk County plate. I also live in WDM! Let me know if you want to help! haha!

How do I block off a window I don't use and side over it. Without removing the window
@JUSTTRYITDIY2 ай бұрын
you really need to remove the window. the profile of the window is typically to the outside of the home and will not allow the siding to lay in the same plane as the rest of the siding

I've seen videos using exercise balls and ropes... I like your PVC idea because it seems like it would support the weight of snow better. My problem is that the water must not see sunlight. In the winter, we add chlorine and algaecide to prevent bio fouling. But UV will break down those chemicals and eventually allow the water to begin turning green. I used a cover with a siphon pump last year, but the water on top was gunky and a bunch of junk poured into the pool. Took forever to clean that out. I purchased a top that has reinforced grommets around the periphery. My plan is to use a cable to pull the top tight and let the water spill off the cover, but without a bunch of supports, the cover will stretch and tear. I don't know what the final solution will look like yet but I appreciate your ideas- it has sparked a few thoughts.

ya dealership quoted me 96$ to change that little light. i said no maybe next time. i drove off to a parts store spent $9 for 2 lights and then at home spent 2 min to change it. i always google and youtube repair jobs before doing it at a dealership, oh ya the time before they wanted to charge me $70 for air filter and install. cost me $20, cool thing though the mechanic came out as i was leaving and showed me how to do it myself. even they think the company over charges

Man, I need a video on how to replace the headlights on these cars. I can't figure it out for the life of me and nobody has a video anywhere. I can remove the dust cap but can't see how anyone can possibly get the bulb out of there. Some forum posts say you have to remove the whole front end of the car and pull the entire headlight assembly out. Others seemingly are able to do it from under the hood, but none of them have any video or even pics.

sorry I can't help you. I don't have this car around anymore 😕
