learning Spray foam on old house

Hopefully it works out. I watched an interesting video by Matt Risinger or Brent Hull that talked about old homes and spray foam/modernization, and the conclusion was basically that spray foam prevents the house from breathing like it was designed to which was preventing mildew mold and rot.
