most wf lists already have issues with non engine space, so having an upstart goblin type card doesnt help that problem. i t hink the ideal type of card for that slot, just for example, is something like pressured planet, since it gives you an actual useful body and then remains on field as fodder without conflicting with another field spell

i think wf azamina with toys would be a very solid alternative - but it loses to the same droll/shifter/charmies so its more of a sidegrade in terms of playing into non engine. the version with snake eyes has better main deck ceiling and better ratio of starter cards but a less flexible extra deck

there are lots of packages you can add btu ultimately youll have the issue of non engine ratios. im opting to stay as close as possible to drawing 2/3 hts per typical hand

I just find that even with the New Support P.U.N.K doesn't really have the gas to play through many handtraps itself outside of Special circumstances (Hard Drawing E-Tele/Called) especially with rising carp being super susceptible to Ash/Veiler/Imperm/Called/Etc when an opponent is patient enough to know Carp is a major chokepoint for the deck.

it will play into boards slightly better playing more engines than usual which dont conflict with each other. but the non engine cards will be the most important thing still and thats why i think 10 is the lower end in this version

doesnt contribute to the deck's engine working any better but the engine itself is good. horus does contribute to the engine working better cuz of zombie vampire

combining this many engines often causes a situation where there isnt an optimal synchro/link climb with a certain combination of bodies - but that is solved by closed heaven being generic.

i think its fine but typically thats in decks with much lower wf card counts in the main and just using it as a way to bridge through a different engine since se, wf, az all work with each other, id rather build the deck in a completely different way so that i want to draw the actual engine and not rely on a choke point also, astellar is debatably the worst wf card without toys, since a single hand trap there is extremely effective - so i prefer to play with other parts of the deck more also, since astellar cant bring itself back if a monster card is sent, sending the temple is risky cuz you have no insurance policy for ip if flamberge is stopped i think its a glass canon strategy

@BimYGO That is valid input, even with testing I personally ended up cutting SE to put more space for more Non Engine. I dont know when the Magistus support will be out but I have experimented with them since Spoon is a 1 card starter that can net you Invoked Mechaba and a fodder for WF effects to go off.

i think in the build ive shown you could play it without temple or se diabell to cut two of the non starter cards and youd be on less bricks but flamberge, hallowed, unleashing for example would still be mandatory

@@BimYGOwhat would you suggest to play when azamina lvl 2 is not released yet. For my locals i want to play it and want to get comfortable with it. I am in the disc if that helps for a list

@@alainvandamme972 i would probably stitll play 3 wanted/3 witch/1 deception with a large toy engine and power spells+droll. if power spells arent good at your locals you might have a much harder time when you lose the dice roll but imo its only okay to play hand traps instead pre CRBR because one or two hand traps will trade decently with current snake eyes (for example) but completely lose to ryzeal

@ thanks for the feedback. I dint have thrusts. I have posted my list in disc. Maybe you can provide feedback there. Only if you find the time :). The thing is why i play SE is its small and can make fucho. Shifter is a thing at our local. I also considered the spright with mannequin but that feels worse

not worth it to give up level 8s that already do useful things for one additional interruption imo. would be better if you were on the horus engine. flamberge should be a standard part of the endboard imo unless you are playing those rank 8s as a meta call

The negate is not though and the monster doesn't have a level meaning the counter doesn't do anything.

its still good, but so is unleashing. there isnt space or even a need for both, though technically you could resolve both in the same turn, though that would be more realistic post siding. in terms of bad draws either side of the dice roll i think its not acceptable to play both

unfortunately runick cards need to be drawn in combinations of 3ish to be reliable, otherwise you fold to one interruption. i dont think its correct to play runick above 40 - but if youre at a locals where you dont get punished for playing what you like then definitely play what you like

"target 1 face-up monster you control" - exactly; it doesnt need to be a magistus monster. you can equip to any monster at all. 99.9% of the time the scripted interactions on edopro/omega are correct and you can trust it

if youre referring to sending a toy monster, astellar cannot trigger because on rez it checks that the toys are monsters in the grave. it has to be a spell/trap card entering the grave to trigger astellar. if youre talking about a different scenario then lmk the timestamp and ill check

if thats one of your harder matchups you can probably find space for one soul release as a thrust target. im not sure if you could find space for more, but that depends on how many of your matchups are fire

woes is mandatory in all wf decks because the ceiling add of an out of turn book of eclipse from engine alone is too good not to play. the downside of drawing it going 2nd matters but its not substantial if you dont have more than 1ish other going 2nd brick in the deck if you played some other deck with wf as just a sub engine it would be more understandable to consider cutting

no it doesnt work the same way. cross is optional, which means you decide whether to use it at resolution. so regardless of how long the chain is, you can negate during the chain. it does not add to the chain, it is simply an effect applied during resolution. its kind of like how branded opening can banish itself from grave instead of your monsters being destroyed. neither card contains a (semi) colon, so they do not activate.

i havent tested it, but there are voiceless ryzeal decks that do the voiceless plays first before being locked

@@BimYGO i meant more ryzeal ending on dweller and completely shutting off the toy engine and hamstringing a lot of the wf engine itself

@@KKBBKRTS so far it doesnt look like a common card most ryzeal players are one, so i wouldnt be super worried about it. if it does become more common idk if droplet is the answer because post side you fear shifter. if starliege doesnt become popular then chalice might be an option since imperm wont work as you have to shotgun it and theyll just chain dweller

yes - but its a brick going first whereas other powerspells arent
