@@YTPREO picked mine up for 270 was a cunt of a job to do cause mine is a Ute and had to take the tub off. Save a lot of coin if you do it yourself very simple job especially if yours is a sedan.

I just changed mine yesterday. I was amazed at how much difference it makes my car was shuddering for a while and was trying to figure it out. Changed the balancer now it drives like a new car.

Those saying it's turbo are silly, if it was turbo he'd be doing backflips with the power. Blackbirds are great bikes, but the rider, deoending on who it is, makes all the difference

they are aftermarket led taillights from a f350 i got from usa, there was a little but of wiring to swap around to make them work,

Nice work. I didnt know the standard valiant electronic ignition modules were troublesome like on the CL models or earlier.

i probably shouldn't have put it that way, they are now 45 to 50 year old parts and there would be a reasonable amount of them still working, but those aftermarket chinese one are pretty average, the plus side of the bosh024 modules, they are readily available as they were used on a few different make cars

Very nice man ,👌 I like to rev my 245 to a bit over 4000 rpm just to hear the hemi's agressive sound. By holding it in first manually or it shifts too early.

What time did you run it at??? Is it quicker than gsv40 series?

it ran a 14.6 @ 96 or 98 mph. im not sure what the 40 series runs, but this feels faster then my old 40 series

Good video, mate . Quick question . How do you diagnose if the pumps gone bad without pulling it out. Iv have a 4L one here that was run out of fuel . Filled it back up now it either won't prime or the pump as maybe gone bad. Any thoughts

does the pump make any sound when you turn the ignition on? more then likely the pump has failed, they dont like being run dry or out of fuel especially if its a old pump, give they pump a few thumps with your hand and see if it comes back to life, it might unstick and work. but its probably in need of changing.

Did you depressurise the fuel system before you swapped it? I might need to do this on mine and never touched anything with the ignition or fuel pump

no, i just did it after the car had been sitting overnight so most of the pressure had bled off.

no i sold it in 2017, i have had 3 more since. this one did suffer from ticking at high rpm when i first got it, it turned out to have a broken inner valve spring. i ended up fitting a set of trickflow alloy heads.

the engine was stock except for having trickflow 170cc alloy heads and hurricane headers

yes, it had 60lb seimens injectors, walbro 255 fuel pump and had a moates j3 chip with wideband afr and was tuned to suit.

A bit weak In my opinion with this set up, I'll do mine soon with flashed ECU ,decatted header pipe + Akra carbon slip on+AIS deleted + Kn +new mapping I'll expect not less that 145 whp ...

its generally for upshifts. you can use it for downshift in a scenario where you are accelerating up a hill in 4th 5th or sixth and want to downshift to accelerate up the hill, but not for downshifts when slowing down coming into a corner or to a stop
