Man that thing sounds great. Just ordered one for my 02' FZ1. Really appreciate the video.

I have the same bike. Just installed the same slip on. Very happy. Feels like it woke my bike up a few hp just like the dyno from Delkevic shows. Sounds and looks incredible. Ended up leaving my baffle out but sounds great either way.

Delkevic are great for the money. UK company but manufacturing in China. On my BMW K1300R I have the oval Titanium (350mm) and the Tri Oval Carbon (450mm). The carbon sounds and looks better, but the titanium will last forever. Tro Ovals seem to sound the best for some reason.

Riding with the baffle out is not enough back pressure and causes exhaust gases to escape before it's time

thats a myth.

Will damage the engine
@backyardmechanical3 жыл бұрын
it won't damage the engine , keep in mind the bike has the factory headers with the exup valve still functioning which creates its own restriction to maintain low end " back pressure " the link pipe is actually smaller than the factory pipe to maintain velocity, it still runs factory air box with factory air filter, so there is no change in the intake, these slip on mufflers are just a noise adder ..

@@backyardmechanical Good video and nice looking pipe. You were spot on with your comments re back pressure etc with this exhaust, some people out there seem to be a bit clueless when spouting comments. Delkevich themselves say no re jetting is required !! I recently bought a slightly longer, 450mm carbon unit for my 2001 Fazer, and with the more traditional end cap. These are lovely exhausts at a very fair price. This is my second Delkevich, as I had a similar one on my 2005 Fazer a few years back. Looked great, sounded great, and lost a lot of weight over the stock can.
