I heavily disagree with his assembly process. Start with the bumpstop, shaft cover, then top mount w/ spring seat and nut. That way, you can still grip on the shaft with a rubber plier or something. If you did it his way, you'll risk marring the inside of the cartridge as the shaft and valve are free spinning. Then work from the bottom: Main spring, lower spring platform w/ spring seat, locking collar, lower mount locking collar, finally lower mount. < Damaged irreplaceable Limited run 5000$+ suspension.

removing the ac and changing the belt size was the sickness things to do but in high hp application keep the oem belt size and keep the ac back ( or replicate the ac pulley) might your prefer of choice due to harmonic changing will effected your power steering and serpentine belt tensioner fluctuation. Same case with changing the crank pulley,Fluedampr or stock might the answered.
@behradsays7 ай бұрын
That’s an interesting point! I definitely wanna look into that, cause theoretically it makes sense what you’re saying. But I’m curious if the tensioner would adjust for the loss of the pulley since it’s spring pressure operated
@CelebesViking7 ай бұрын
@@behradsays 500-600hp application the tensioner from the spring pressure still strong enough to prevent the belt fluctuate but over than that you can see the belt fluctuation and your dyno will showing some sorta odd graph

Only where the slave cylinder goes, because it’s opposite side of ka/sr trans. Also the top area of the tunnel, at the firewall, to help with room behind the engine.

The 325 engine will outlast the328 engine when worked hard due to lower piston speed in the 325 at the same rpm. Lower stresses on your pistons.

Not sure if you already got a bedliner but as someone with two OBS trucks one that looks very much like yours haha, go drop in bedliner! Spray in is nice but long term deteriorates and gets in the way sometimes. Some people will say you’ll have issues with rust under them but I’ve had three with drop ins and not experienced this. And they’re removable so you can check under them. On the other hand both my OBS fords have spray in liners and they always look dirty, and hold water and both my trucks have caps
@behradsays9 ай бұрын
That’s good insight! I was going to go with a spray in liner but maybe I’ll checkout a drop in too. I have a drop in style in my Toyota pickup and always liked it but always heard the whole rust thing so wasn’t sure if it was the best idea for my OBS lol
