Learned so much about M52 and ill probably never use the info but it was interesting to watch none the less. Loving the series, keeping it real and dealing with problems as they come up!

Too bad about the head, machine shop didn't see that, looks like a rough day pick and pull. Bit of a set back. But love ❤️ this content 👌. Look forward to more of the same. Once again if you're ever in the San Jose area give me heads up we'll go to lunch.

When I saw how clean the piston in cylinder 3 was, alarm bells were ringing, way cleaner than all the other pistons. Good work tho guys look forward to watching more 👍🏽

don't skip the cut ring gasket. I would gap those rings too, especially for drifting. you will get to do it right soon enough . (*wink) also m50 non vanos can be modified easily to accept vanos. non vanos has 7mm valve stems (less likely to break at the wield/drop valve) non vanos has dual valve springs (nested)

I lost compression on my m52 on cylinder 4 after an m50 manifold swap. I really hope it's just a broken valve spring. 🥺 I've never heard of m52 valve springs breaking though. I could hear a ticking at the lifter area.

Bro I know that we are all human at the end of the day, but as a engine reconditioner/ automotive machinist myself and for them to deck the head and not pick up the crack is very poor attention to detail even after the head had been milled the crack shows up clearly on video (and understandably if they dont have crack detection methods as they might be a small shop) its on them to inform you on that the head is cracked and should not have charged you for the machining
