Dont think it matters which is best both beautiful and I’m a Madrid fan. What matters is that these two giants remain giants for the rest of the world to drool over. Actually the Kop is named after the battle of the Spion Kop, which occurred during the Boer War and Kop is the Boer word for hill. During that battle, many Scousers lost their lives and the stand was named in their honour. Many other UK grounds have a "Kop" from this period, but it's not a UK colloquial name.
