Set on the banks of the Mersey, on Regent Road, a 3 mile long industrial estate with a sewerage water works on one side and stinky cargoes and heavy industry on the other. There are no shops, no chippys and 1 pub. the nearest transport link is a 15 minute uphill walk to the train station. Shops wont open for three days trade in a month. It should have been built on Everton women`s pitch on Walton Park and gave Goodison Park to the women game.

OH yeah said a hotel chain, lets build a hotel in an old dock with a sewerage works next door. You should phone bill; gates or Richard Branson, they would run to invest in a heavy industry industrial estate. the only question is, which way the wind blows and which stink will the team mimic? It should have been kept in Walton, this is just going to turn Walton into a ghost town all those chippys and pubs needed that trade. for the `family` club, its crapping on its own community of fans and the community that upheld it for 100 years. Lovely stadium though.

@@pklucky43 yeah 15 minute uphill walk for the agile, for the fat middle aged sad bitter blue, it could be 25 minutes. huge expanse of land, you do mean old docks still full of water, there is nothing there for a reason, its dead at night, its only passing HGV traffic at day. why do I need to change my lifestyle? yeah all that shopping, LOL 2 days fan traffic a month, then al the shopping in Walton will be destroyed, the community that housed the ``family club`` is being forgotten and left to rot.

Have they had the audacity to build a trophy cabinet at Bramley Moore? You say lego set LOL like those lego brickwork sets right around the new stadium. you do know those verticles of bricks are only half sets prefabricated off site LOL I would prefer a housing estate over a heavy industrial estate with no transport links within a mile. And correct me if I am wrong but where is Goodison? isn't that in the middle of a housing estate. You stay bitter eh lad no doubt your teams performances will help with that
