The Camp Nou simply has more spectators per game but not per year due to all the events at the Bernabéu. 100k x (40 games + 5 concerts) is 4.5M 80k x (40 games + 30 events) is 5.5 million Roof, hypogeum, wonderful façade, television ring, there is no debate. Camp Nou has been almost demolished while Bernabeu was barely touched at all. IN Bernabeu they installed a "cover" around the old stadium while Camp Nou's third stand is built completely from ground up. Also Bernabeu is having a lot more trouble than said here. They had to cancel all concerts until next summer due to the noise and not aligning with the regulations of the city. And now they are on a trial with the neighbours around the stadium because the stadium is disturbing the residents. Yeah, maybe it's cheaper and more focused on technology, but in the end it will be much more expensive when they realize that, to host concerts and all the events, they can't have a stadium in the middle of the city barely 200m away from the people's residences. Madrid will have the eventually build a new stadium outside the city like Atletico if they want to go down that path and demolish Bernabeu.

But of every issue with weather, the less concerning is rain. It doesn't rain a lot in Madrid or Catalunya, so rain is no big deal. Sardinabeu is not even the best stadium in Madrid. The Metropolitano is way better.

From ESG stand point Bernabeu is far behind Barça stadium. In terms of integration with the city bernabeu has the disadvantage of lack of space as it is almost side by side with regular apartments for day to day leaving, triggering the large problems they are facing now with several legal problems with neighbors. Whereas barça has more space and more options to create not just a stadium but a mini sports/entertainment city.

Bernabeu was supposed to be a multifunctional stadium for having concerts BUT some months ago they had to suspend the concerts because the neighborhood has initiated a big demang against the club for exceeding the maximun decibellium allowed when there was concerts. Bernabeu wasn't soundproof so they will have to do some reforms but the cost it's so big, so is it possible that the idea of Florentino will be a big failure Another cons is the retractable pitch, another idea of Florentino.
