Hello Andrejs :) For the price, the loss of usefulness is not such a problem to me ... The fact that they may be unuseable at all because the Nikon Camera says that it is not a Nikon Battery and will not allow it to be used is My problem :( Best of all to You n Yours in this troubling time,,, Slava :) :) :)

Thanks so much for putting this together and organizing the files needed for installation. Here's some information for MacOS users: I've ran a Virtualbox VM with Windows XP for my Pakon for probably 10 years. It worked well enough, aside from common error codes forcing reboots. I went to set up my Pakon after a few years of not using it, and between numerous MacOS updates and Virtualbox warnings about lack of future compatibility, it kept crashing on startup. I tried creating a fresh WinXP VM and ran into tons of errors. So after I came across the articles on Pakon drivers for Win 10/11 I decided to scrap the XP plans. So I created a new Virtualbox VM with Windows 10 from Microsoft's ISO. I kept running into failed installations from the step 1 Fx35install ("The wizard was interrupted before Pakon Fx35 could be completely installed"). Spent hours troubleshooting with no success. Between that and VBox's terrible, complete garbage performance I went looking towards VMware or Parallels. VMware just became free for personal use, and they're the biggest name in virtualization, so I installed that along with Windows 10 Enterprise LTSC (2021, non-IOT) to avoid all that awful MSFT bloatware - and everything went perfectly smooth following this video. Set up in 10 minutes and scanning without any issues whatsoever. Thanks again.

I conducted an indoor photoshoot using the Nikon Z8, and the battery is now at 61%. During the session, I captured 1,373 shots with the 24-70mm f/2.8 S lens, consuming 39% of the battery. 24 hours camera off -1% of capacity. The second photoshoot made 3650 raw photos and left 33%.

Сильно покоробило про Nikon FE и FM. FE электронноуправляемый затвор. Без юатарейки в лучшем случае будут выдержка сопряжения со вспышкой и В. FM камера с механическим затвором. Батарейка только для работы экспонометра.

Can't you avoid the tape/covers entirely, and just do the "I'm scratching my head" maneuver with both hands over both lenses/LED to start a recording with your voice (obviously, you'd have to use voice because starting it with the button would be tricky with this method...) - Does that work?
