Hi, my friends! In this video, I’ll show you what’s happening with my latest Leica lens and the issues I encountered when using it on my Leica M10. I have multiple Leica camera bodies, including the Leica MP (film), Leica M3 (classic), and Leica M10 (digital), and I’ll compare how this lens performs on each of them.

28mm f/5.6 (New Lens with Issue)
🔎 What’s the Problem?
I recently bought the 28mm f/5.6 lens brand new, and as soon as I mounted it on my Leica M10, I noticed an issue:
✅ The focusing ring gets stuck between infinity and 5 meters.
✅ I had to push harder to move past the sticking point.
✅ Visible yellow metal flakes appeared inside the lens mechanism.
✅ Scratches started forming inside the focusing ring, which wasn’t there when I first unboxed it.
🧐 Testing on Other Cameras:
✅ Leica M3: No issues, smooth focusing, no metal flakes.
✅ Leica MP: Same as the M3-everything worked perfectly.
❌ Leica M10: The problem persists-scratches and resistance while focusing.
