This is wonderful!!! I rarely expect to find a new chrstmas song that i'm excited to replay and share, yet this is my new favorite this year!

Random part of the playlist (probably should’ve commented on part 1, but who cares), but, I just have to say, I am so glad you’ve published this. My only negative is that I only just found these! I have no idea how I missed them. But, yeah, I’m really happy to find these considering the time I’ve spent trying to analyse these songs (not years or anything, but still, haha). I’m like super excited to see what I got right and to find out stuff I hadn’t noticed! The more behind the scenes stuff is really interesting too. Anyway, a bit of long comment compared to my usual (which is none haha), but I just wanted to share my excitement! :D

This song is seriously underrated. I've been listening to a lot of Dream SMP music again, and this is actually such a banger. Schlatt was a good villain, even if he wasn't around for very long.

"If you think you're a hero, then die like one." I love every single cover's interpretation of this line. It's always so intense, but sometimes it's more malicious and aggressive, sometimes it's regretful and sad. For yes, Technoblade was the ultimate antagonist, standing unshakable in the way of every plan and denying all ambition; But only because he kept being drawn in as a tool for those who thought themselves above him. He would tear apart entire civilizations, but never look to do so. At the end of the day, there's pain in his heart, even as he wickedly feasts on the chaos. You want to be the hero, who stands opposed to the monster that he's been made out to be? Learn that the story does not favor you, despite how fiercely he wishes it might.

Never really cared for Minecraft videos.... But this is incredible lyrical storytelling.

Not sure if it was intended but I love the idea that this tragedy happened because Techno was thinking in modern day story tropes like the mentor dying to push along the hero while the world was actually running closer to a Greek tragedy.
