Okay, you know what's amazing to me with this song? There's only one single line that's a jarringly obvious reference as someone who hasn't absorbed the Egg at all, and it's three words long. "Diamonds and Rubies" is the only line in here that *forces* me to see this in terms of the Dream SMP - everything else leaves room for imagining other stories, which you just don't get with lore songs very often. And as much as I love Dream SMP lore songs, a dedicated lore song that doesn't 100% have to be about the SMP? That will impress me so much more any day of the week. Hats off to you, KoE. Thanks for making me want to write a story about a time traveler trying to prevent the apocalypse.

Oh gosh, this works so well with Bad. You can tell his villain arc comes from a place of both great kindness and great selfishness. A lot of people who didn't really follow his pov think of Bad based off his persona: goofy, doesn't swear, lighthearted, you know, general naiveness, but the Bad from the DSMP is tough and ruthless in despite of some of his more fun traits. And one of his greatest flaws is his attachment to Skeppy and the selfishness that entails. It's not a selfish love (whatever type of love you interpret it as, but it is a deep love), not the selfless self sacrificing love, but the selfish "I'll destroy the world for you and then myself" type of love that defines his character. He avoids pain like the plague. The pain of hurting loved ones in exchange for putting of conflict, avoiding sorrow and letting misery fester because of it, turning his back on others when they need him. And all of it for one shiny ideal. His friendships mean nothing as long as he gets that one desire. That's why he's so attached to the Egg. The Egg was (supposed) to deliver on your greatest desire, and (while never actively imposes a will) allows that sort of greed to usurp everything else. In a way, he never cared about Skeppy's feelings, not the way he was meant to, and that was what always struck a chord with me with his character.

This is amazing 🤩 what an end to bbh’s song arc, from the beginning of the eggpire to its fall “Sold his soul to quell its anger” 😭 This liiine nooooo I’d forgetten how much Skeppy’s fall affected bbh :’((( I love the references to the other two savior songs sprinkled throughout, but the “come to me” bridge from the reprise hits especially hard. For real, it slaps 😤 The bit at the beginning reminds me of the intro to the better price, where both characters also have ties to the eggpire. And the electric guitar? It’s a vibe. Another KoE banger to be sure

Amazing work Knight! I love how this is another take of the Eggpire in part with the Saviour songs. The chorus is absolutely outstanding, and I absolutely adore the art! Great job!! Edit: THE CALLBACKS!!! I thought it couldn't get better and then IT DID!! I LOVE THE CALLBACKS TO THE OTHER SONGS!

Oh my Ghoul! You literally put his final character arc in one fell swoop of a song! And will be checking out the other two songs as well! I love the Eggpire Arc from the DSMP and BBH's character in that was just (Chef Kiss).
