I wish i could go. She is not coming to my country, and if she was, people is too rude in here, they are desperate for the only concert in years, so they figth for their lives on the pit. Last time i went to a harry concert people were super agressive and all recording with the phone.

Yeah, I also discovered Gracie Abrams back in 2022 (maybe earlier). Tried to get tickets for her show; it was impossible.

In NY she brought out Finneas as a surprise right before Happier Than Ever and I think that was the loudest moment in the entire show, ngl. (In a VERY loud show at MSG.)

i’ve noticed that billies shows have such a strong sense of community, love, and respect. which every show should be like, but i feel a lot of shows i go to have lost one or all those aspects.(i saw her in 2017 and the feeling was strong even then) it’s it’s impressive to see her fandom grow so big but still be able to hold such a safe space
@windowangel3 күн бұрын
like i’ve been to shows where either the artist specifically asks us to quiet down/turn of phones, or collectively we go quiet but there’s ALWAYS people who start yelling at the artist in hopes of being noticed and it always causes a ripple effect, so the level of RESPECT AND APPRECIATION her fans have is insane.

I can’t explain how beautifully weird and nostalgic it felt when I got to see Shawn Mendes perform again in a small venue after having seen him perform in big venues prior. It felt like a trip back to my childhood when I went to a small one for the first time. A strange but beautiful twist on nostalgia. Especially since the next ones are probably going to be huge again.

I started listening to Gracie Abrams in 2021 and she was my favorite artist that year. I listen to a lot of emerging artists, and I want to support them and help their careers to take off, but I do miss the intimate concerts. I have also seen Gracie perform 3 times, during the same 3 years you did: 2022, 2023, and 2024. The venues' capacities went from 951 to 1,400 to 8,500, respectively. The tickets went from not being sold out to selling out within seconds on Ticketmaster. In 2023, I went to 27 music shows. In 2024, I went to 30. Listening to music and going to concerts is my #1 hobby, by far. I relate to this video a great deal - well, except for the 3rd concert being an intimate setting (I'm super happy you got to experience that!). Amazingly, the 3rd Gracie concert with 8,500 was my favorite of the 3. And that was my #2 favorite show by any of the 148 artists I've seen in the last several years. This is super surprising to me because I generally enjoy intimate settings more (I went to a concert last month with fewer than 10 people in the audience). I'm so happy Gracie is a recognized star. This is what I want for all the artists I support, as long as they're happy.

She is freaking amazing but the audience kind of wrecks it, I saw her last night in Chicago and I heard her voice very little. It was mostly the people around me screaming. And the crowd was on their phones, to record her, but the vibes were great, people were nice. In a crowd of 23,000 you’d think there’d be some kerfuffles but no. People got along nicely. Okay, so there’s one time she says please give me 30 seconds of silence but it didn’t happen. We did the wave, it was fine, but the ONE thing she asked was to just hold it in and they didn’t. This dude was like a snooze alarm and every tiny moment of pause silence he screamed I love you Billie and when he did it after three seconds so did everyone else and they effed up the looping. On one hand I’m maybe to old to think this is that moving when I come from a time when you could see nirvana for $10-$20 and get up to the stage because there were only 5,000 people there MAX. This just doesn’t have intimacy and it’s weird to spend so much on something you can’t hear much. And while I say the vibes were good I’m not sure because people just stood in front of others because you know…their emotions are more important. So his review is more like DUH, yes, Billie Eilish has a great repertoire and she gives it her all, too bad her audience overrides her. I didn’t pay all that to hear some dimwits screeching off key all around me. It’s not about her as an artist or performer, she’s freaking great, but are the concerts that great? No. Sorry. Makes me wonder what the standards are these days.
