I’ve been a fan of Sabrina since her girl meets world days and tbh I was only really a fan of her acting stuff I never really listened to her music but when eics came out I gave it a shot and started listening to that and then a few months later I listened to singular act 1 and 2 and loved those too where I live she announced a tour and I thought you know what I’ll give it a shot, she announced January 2023 that she was coming and I thought that I would be able to get tickets because she still wasn’t that big but when I went to go get the tickets at the time they were released I was about 1 second too late and they had sold out and I know it’s not my fault I didn’t get tickets I tried but I’ll kick my self for as long as I’m alive that I couldn’t get tickets at that time cause I’ll probably never see a full concert of hers live, I say that cause I’m going to the capital summertime ball and she’s there but I’d still love to see a single concert of just her

I saw Gracie’s smallest ever concert in Cleveland in 2021 and her largest venue ever in Madrid. Both were amazing but the small, 200 person concert was truly life changing and encapsulated the intimacy of her music that a big venue couldn’t.

That's so cool! I just went to the one in Madrid and it was so good omg
@jasoninthea.m74715 ай бұрын
This is why I (even though I've never been to one) say that I'd rather go to a more calmer concert/live performance in a cafe/restaurant or something, because a smaller venue, less screamy fans, less phones recording 24/7 blocking the view and a more peaceful experience of actually hearing the artist.

Saw BTS in 2015 in Toronto since my friends were into K-pop. Had to begin by lining up so they would one by one sign their autographs on a poster for each of us with this ticket level. Saw them perform on stage from the third row, making eye contact here and there. Got to get high fives with the members right after they performed and were still catching their breaths. Then once they changed, got to take a group photo with about 20 others. Was right next to Jimin, who scared me and the girl next to me when he stuck his head over our shoulders lol and apologized when we jumped. At the time, thought this was a really fun experience overall. Now almost a decade later, they took over North America and the wider world, with the rise beginning in 2016-2017. Truly wild to see their concert in 2018 and notice the differences.

I saw Laufey open for Alexander 23 with just a guitar and a keyboard back in 2021 at a really small venue that held just over 400 people. The tickets for them were under 30 bucks. I was at the front of the "stage" too so I saw her VERY close. Now she's immediately selling out big venues and giving an orchestral performance for them, which is honestly more fitting for her genre of music. But it was nice to experience a stripped/acoustic version of her songs live!

I started listening to Gracie Abrams in 2021 and she was my favorite artist that year. I listen to a lot of emerging artists, and I want to support them and help their careers to take off, but I do miss the intimate concerts. I have also seen Gracie perform 3 times, during the same 3 years you did: 2022, 2023, and 2024. The venues' capacities went from 951 to 1,400 to 8,500, respectively. The tickets went from not being sold out to selling out within seconds on Ticketmaster. In 2023, I went to 27 music shows. In 2024, I went to 30. Listening to music and going to concerts is my #1 hobby, by far. I relate to this video a great deal - well, except for the 3rd concert being an intimate setting (I'm super happy you got to experience that!). Amazingly, the 3rd Gracie concert with 8,500 was my favorite of the 3. And that was my #2 favorite show by any of the 148 artists I've seen in the last several years. This is super surprising to me because I generally enjoy intimate settings more (I went to a concert last month with fewer than 10 people in the audience). I'm so happy Gracie is a recognized star. This is what I want for all the artists I support, as long as they're happy.

smaller shows are so much better ☝🏻 like dude, unless its a whole ass once in a lifetime spectacle, i just don’t see the allure of seeing a concert in an arena. you are one in a million, you don’t get anywhere close to the artist & its not a real social event where you get to dance, sing & interact with people around you. festivals are cool because you get that while still seeing huge artists (+ its multiple artists so its so worth it), but concert shows are meh compared to intimate 300ish person shows in club venues.

Gracie came with Aaron to Barcelona to play, and here this artists are a lot smaller than in other places in the world, so she played at this kind of small venue BUT I SAW IT TO LATE AND THE TICKETS WERE GONE AND ITS SO SAD cause probably next time she comes will be a bigger place and without Aaron :(

i kid you not, i knew the piano was 21 from the beginning and i was just singing along to it 😭also, i totally feel you. i knew gracie abrams, conan gray, olivia rodrigo and sabrina carpenter before they blew up. it's a mixed feeling. i'm super proud of them, but i miss it.

Just don’t forget the opposite can happen. Artists get forgotten, no shade but that’s how the industry works. Give it a few decades or less and you may be able to see her in a small club again.

sabrina carpenter!! i've been a fan since singular act II and first heard her music in singular act I, but i was also young, like 10. i literally remember BEGGING my parents for tickets to the eics tour, but they never let me go. now that shes blown up (even tho im SO proud of her) tickets will prob be more expensive and hard to get.

I'm sobbing. As someone who also went to her show in 2022 and payed little to nothing for the tickets. I was 10 meters from her and there weren't all that many people at the venue (around 200). Seeing her grow so much as an artist is so special but so so heartbreaking at the same time, no matter how selfish it might be ahaha

In my opinion, small, intimate venues, are so much better than big venues. I went to A Evening with Twenty One Pilots in Columbus (I can’t believe I got tickets either) and it was amazing because of how intimate the venue was.

Yeah, I also discovered Gracie Abrams back in 2022 (maybe earlier). Tried to get tickets for her show; it was impossible.

saw Tom Odell 2016 and then 2023 and it was crazy how much bigger it got!!! it was in the same city and before it was such a cute little venue and then the next one was the biggest we have in this city.

Been a fan for years, but the TSOU tour is the first one I've been able to get tickets to. It's sad that I didn't get that intimate artist to audience connection at her past tours, but I'm so excited to see miss Abrams in september!!

Just went to my first concert Last month. Of my favorite kpop group ever. I always wish they were more known and recognized but I felt so lucky that our concert was small, probably 400 people or less, I saw them so close and se had such a good time. I wish them bigger success but I'm so glad I could see them like that. Maybe next time they come to my country it'll be harder to go and see them, but I hope I can support them and they get their goals.

I met Sabrina Carpenter in 2015 for ‘Eyes Wide Open’ after being a diehard fan for years. I feel REALLY old…

I’ve been listening to The Rose since their debut and the first concert I went to was probably the best concert I’ve been to. We were so close to the stage without standing in line from the morning, it was amazing. The next concerts we progressively had to stand further in the back, but they were still really cool. But now they blew up quite a bit and while I still love their music I really don’t like big concerts. I’ve been to a bit bigger concert and a stadium concert before and it’s just super stressful and there’s so much screaming, you can’t hear or see much. It’s quite conflicting when you have artists that you like so much but you’d have to spend 100€ just to see them on a far away screen.

I was pretty good friends with Austin Swift in high school and through college. Sometimes when we’d be at his house Taylor would be playing and once she played us a couple of songs that she wrote. I just remember her being so fucking sweet but kinda quiet and reserved. Also it’s a bit of a flex to say I’ve had many dinners with Taylor swift lol
