Sloppy shot, making animal suffer its last minutes. If you cannot do it in one , then you shouldn't take the shot. Why are you out shooting them anyway. I saw no evidence of stock.

David Drane the object is to wait as long as you can. When the coyotes get vocal like these have, many times other coyotes show up and you will get the opportunity to kill multiple coyotes. There actually is a strategy in what I do. Patience.

Bill the reason I wait is because a big part of the time when your calling and especially if a coyote gets vocal other coyotes will come in as well, that gives me the opportunity to kill multiple coyotes. Patients is your friend when using decoy dogs. Sorry you feel this way.

Are you the same dudes as "Decoy Doggers" on KZbin? You both seem to have similar breeded dogs and use the same type of command noise (tttchhh-ttchhhh-tchhhhh) when they release the hounds on the coyotes. I know I already commented, but between that channel and yours, you guys have captured some of the best coyote inter-species behavioral footage I have ever seen. The "Decoy Doggers" have comments disabled on their videos though... Keep up the coyote management and if you guys are ever thinking about doing some stands in MN we have got a few nice fields to hunt.

Well you guys both do great work. You should suggest to Jeff that he turn his comments back on all of his videos...the crazy people and their ignorant comments are the second best part about these videos!!! I am sure because of your hard work you have thriving game bird populations, and great deer populations on your properties. I am in Minnesota, not New Mexico. Our coyotes are just huge in general but we also have got coyotes up here that breed with wolves and they get real big and nasty.

Coyotes are probably drawn to your field to feast on mice and other critters. Why do you shoot them? Is it just for target practice, or do you also have livestock that are threatened by coyotes?
