So I just replaced my hybrid battery in a 2004 Prius with a new dealer battery and this video saved me hours of frustration. I didn't click the safety plug all the way down yesterday so when I go to test drive after replacement I'm just getting a problem light and nothing happens. Caught your video last night and when I got home from work today figured out it was the safety plug. Thank you so much!!

I have this product in my 07 prius. After 20 rebuilds and constant problems out my old battery and bcu/ecu Jack offer me a permanent fix. THIS WAS THE EASY INSTALL I EVER DEALT WITH SO FAR! NOT HAD A SINGLE PROBLEM SINCE THE INSTALL... Thanks NexPower and Jack!

I saw in your video you used its original bms then how in Dr prius cells individual voltage shown 3.7v near by.....😮 it must be 7 to 9v per blade voltage as per bms data

This doesn't make sense, how does the phone read the battery condition of the car wirelessly?? does it sense electric or electromagnetic field? This seems to good to be true

Do they have increased capacity compared to factory or the same? Is it upgrading or just to replace worn out packs? Will it fit '21 Highlander hybrid? What brand/type are the individual cells or modules?

Can you do same setup with the Peugeot 508 RHX battery ???

I hope you make models for 2018-2024 vehicles that could upgrade the capacities as the Toyota Li-Ion degrade. The small lithium-ion replacement battery packs there making for 2024 parts are going to be as much as the cars are worth because of the brand parts monopolies in 5-10 years. Last long long time at -40 degrees or 140 degrees F, thats nuts!

This battery sounds great and all but it doesn’t even work for as long as the original old tech battery does, based on how they advertise it, it should lower your gas mileage 3 times and it DOESN’T. Best and cheapest way is to buy a couple batteries packs from your local junkyard, get all the good modules and put them in one, balance them and you are good for another ten years. Worst case it will cost you $200 including the hobby charger you need to check the quality of those modules.

That's a really good news story. I never appreciated just how many ways there were to destroy a battery, it must have been hard to think you had it fully nailed before and then see these edge cases. It's exciting to see Sodium start to replace Lithium. The Prius is a great car and extending its life is important in this throw away age. Good luck for the future.

13 gal. @ 55 mpg = 730 miles per tank 13 gal @ 40 mpg = 520 miles per tank 1 tank of gas avg cost $65 @ $5/gal New battery = $2100 minimum, + maybe $500 min for installation by professional That is 40 tanks of gas averaging $5/gal

Hope this comes out for the 2017 Prius prime! Would love to have as much mileage as a tesla! Even if it took up the whole trunk space I’d be ok with that, plus lithium would be so much lighter!
