This unit is garbage, I’ve had 3 that had issues. Wish i wouldn’t have waited a few months but now I can’t take it back. It never starts when below 50° have to have it sit in sun or put next to heather for it to turn over and run.

That's a brass fitting on a steel tank... you seeing corrosion now 2 years later ?
@tomintheshop24 күн бұрын
Not one bit of corrosion. Brass goes fine with steel. It doesn't however go with "Stainless" steel. Then you'd see corrosion.

The cotter pin just came out with a pair of pliers

@ with some twisting and a couple of taps with the pliers. I figured it out.

I’ve had one of these vans for 3 months and it’s been in the shop twice, and both headlights are burned out and a rear turn signal is burned out. If you have a pro-master your gonna spend a ton on maintenance

Excellent explanation of this classic table design. My grandparents had several of these that we always used to use when we went camping. They were smaller and made from all one by material though. I inherited one, but had been thinking I might make some more so me and my siblings could all have them.

I have a Predator 9000. Thanks to your video I ordered a new start switch. It asked for the quantity and I put in 1 (one). When I go to check out it displays a 2 in the quantity box that can't be changed. So They sent me 2 but I'll keep it just in case. I opened up the case to get to the switch. Finally got it out. There are 5 wires plugged in to the old switch. Before doing this it's wise to take off the negative terminal on the battery. I plugged in the wires one by one to the new switch to get the old switch out so not to loose my place where they went. Took the old one out and plugged the wires back in to the old switch so not to get them mixed up. Installed the new switch and transferred the wires one by one to the new switch. Got everything back together and it worked. Thanks again for the video.

If cut out is 120 then why does the gauge go to 225??
@tomintheshop5 ай бұрын
Because one gauge is tank pressure and the other gauge is tool pressure. You can change the tool pressure to fit your needs

Worked great - thanks for the advice and demo. For those that didn't have luck removing the bushings with this method, don't be afraid to give the hammer swings plenty of force. You're not going to break anything. I didn't have a screwdriver that I wanted to hit that hard, so I used the axle instead of the screwdriver and that worked fine.

I hope I’m not the only one who still made this take an hour. The adjustment screw came out of the bottom screw hole without me knowing so halfway through put it back together that was out then had to retake it back out again.

Had to use sawz-all with a metal cutting blade and a grinder to get the wrong bearings off. You must have a powerful blow.
@jbhobbyist93728 ай бұрын
I just finished mine. You don't have to loosen the boots just push the wires through. If you pull the control panel out you will see why there are six nuts holding it in place. Because of all the electrical that is mounted to the control panel it needs to be secured. The glue and zip ties on the switch is definitely over kill. Hopefully if there's a next time the replacement switch will just pop out and there won't be any need to take the panel off again. My Predator is 8750 Max with 7000 running watts. Good simple reliable machine. I have had it since 2014 has never given me any problems. Also have a Motor Snorkel kit connected to it. With that I ran propane a couple times for a short period. But most always run gasoline and turn the fuel valve to let carburetor run dry when shutting down. I haven't tried natural gas yet, not sure if it's ok for the generator. I think NG runs hot and might burn up valves.

Any other methods if the screwdriver and hammer don't seem to be able to budge those? I need to do the reverse for my gorilla cart (change 5/8 to 1/2) and the existing 5/8 bearings do NOT want to budge. Tried some WD40 ... no go initially ... hoping that after it sit over night maybe that'll help, but if not ... I got nothing. Thank you for the video though. This is the only one I have found on this level of detail for getting those changed out. Deserves way more likes. :)

If you could even get one side off, you could use a socket. If that doesn't work, then your only option might be heat
