I miss the old days when guys like Andrew and others use to post videos of there fishrooms and other various info regarding the fish and hobby they loved so much. I’ve noticed from the past couple of years all of my favorite fish tubers have kinda faded into the darkness and just stopped posting. Wish at least a few would come back to it? Does anyone know why Andrew stopped posting videos??? 😢

Hi, can you put them with any other fish? I saw one at the pet store and they didnt know what it was. They only had one and i wanted it but the tank i have that would be good for them has peppered cory cats a small pleco and rosy red minows. And i just put a bunch of tetras in because i didnt know what else to put with the minows. I know it's aggressive and it is recommended in a species only tank but they only had one and it would be nice to keep it with something . Could they possibly be compatible with anything in my tank I might be able to do some moving around of other fish. They are in a 55 gallon with fast moving water. If I were to get him and they wouldn't be compatible in the tank what is the smallest tank size that they are comfortable in?

How do you maintain all the stuff? Water changes? Siphoning? So many small filters, small HOBs - to clean them must take many time.? Why do you have so small amount of substrate on the bottoms and the plants are almost always in the pots? By this you reduce biological capacity of your tanks.?

I got one years ago, when I spotted it mixed in with some feeder guppies at a local pet store I loved. Took him home and he lived for many, many years in tiny two gallon, slate bottom metal rim tank on my coffee table. No filter just some Java fern. Decades later I still long for this species again. One of my all time favorites. Thank you for this vid!
