Never got TFI, and top gear was bad, but the week or 2 programme he did wich was like robot wars vs celebrity Big brother was absolute genius, loved it and to this day cannot understand why It wasn't a Saturday night thing like gladiators, but with monster trucks, stunt riders and everything else it was brilliant but they cut it, I was so disappointed!

We used to watch Purdey and John Steed in the New Avengers when I was a teenager in SA. Everyone had a crush on her. Do you remember her double barrelled slingshot?

I used to like Judi Dench but watching her interviews over the years and her behaviour I’ve come to realise that she’s a phoney. She simply reflects whom ever it is that she’s around and reacts as expected for effect.

The issue with this technique is that it only works for brief moments of small talk. Overusing it becomes highly irritating to the other person, and if done more than twice, they are likely to excuse themselves and avoid you entirely. That said, it can be entertaining to turn the tables and do it back to them-just casually insert the word "Beetlejuice" into the conversation. Then, either enjoy hearing them say, "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice," or watch them panic as they realize what you’ve done.
