Yes indeed! For professional detailers it’s a Lifesaver! But for people who don’t run a detailing business you may have to find alternative ways to clean candy like that. Actually an old iron set on steam and place a towel over the candy and steam it with the iron. Should get the same effect.

I think he knew absolutely that your original estimate was for the exterior only then when he came to pick it up. He figured he could get upset and you would cave in and do the interior for free. I hate to say it but there are a lot of people out there who do these kind of things. Since you stated he was driving a BMW I have to comment on that old saying. What is the difference between a porcupine and a BMW? On a BMW the prick is on the inside. I worked in retail sales for many years and you would be surprised at how many people try to browbeat or threaten you into giving them something for free. I now run a little shop out of my place where I work on musical instruments. Every single customer gets a free estimate that is written and they have to sign that before I will work on their instruments. The estimate is detailed and states exactly what is and what is not included. There's also a clause in there that says if I run into anything else in the course of working on the instrument that may prevent me from completing the work without incurring an additional charge I will contact them and get their permission. If they do not wish to pay the additional charge the instrument will be returned to them in the same condition as it was dropped off to me. Sometimes it's extra work on my part when a customer refuses to pay the extra charge and I have to basically put the instrument back into condition to give back to them but I'd rather have to put in a little bit more of my time just to prevent somebody coming back and trying to bite me in the ass later. There have also been times where someone brought me their instrument and in the course of talking to them I just didn't get a good vibe or I knew ahead of time that the instrument wasn't going to be able to be fixed without additional work being done and I just didn't have a good feeling about them in general so I politely bowed out of doing the work again sometimes it's better to turn work away than With having to deal with someone that you know is going to cause you grief.

How long does the sprayer work between re pressurising
@ericrainey53613 ай бұрын
I have the Axel 3000 foamer. I used the 7/16-bit, dish soap and channel locks with no issue. The only issue I'm having is the pressure relief valve does not activate?? I filled it with water to the 2250 line. I put 45 psi and stopped because I'm afraid that it may blow up!! Could the relief valve be defective? Even by pumping it, the valve doesn't open.
@JuanCarlos-nt5gt2 ай бұрын
Exactly. It blowed up to me with less than 50 psi and it was very dangerous

The tire valve is different than the schrader valve.
@RichardsWorld5 ай бұрын
I drilled and tapped mine and I have a screw-in Shrader valve. I also used a bunch of superglue on the threads to make sure it doesn't come out. The valves you used looks a lot easier to install than what I did. Plus you don't need the NPT thread tap. I keep it going with a small battery powered tire pump. I see iK sprayers have an airpump now, also.
@ludwigkirchner084 ай бұрын
which tire pump?
@aresident77455 ай бұрын
spit or get some other type of slippery stuff on the valve stem first and it will pop right in. even a little soap. i'd like to have it set up to where i can just hook my compressor to the sprayer, carry it around and spray spray spray without stopping, unhook and bleed the air out, etc. that way i'm not always filling my pancake compressor for 30psi of air

Would you pls advise on what’s the busiest days for a mobile detailer? Do I need to be avail on Fri and sat to detail or is Monday - Thursday better days to book clients? Long time viewer , subscriber on both channels needing advice, keep up the great content
@thedetailingworkshop26896 ай бұрын
Hi. Sorry for the delay. Not exactly what you mean about the busiest days for detailing. It doesn’t work that way. Getting customers really depends on many factors. If you have a good website that is optimized to gain views and clicks. Posting on social media helps a lot also to gain customers. It takes a while to truly build your business to where you’re just on a regular basis.

Is it a good idea to do this hack on a bottle without a pressure relief valve? Isn't there a danger of over-pressurisation and explosion if one over-pressurises the bottle?
@evanleebodies8 ай бұрын
Correction: meant to say DON'T do this on a bottle without a pressure relief valve.
@thedetailingworkshop26898 ай бұрын
Hi yes. Very true. I wouldn’t install on cheaper bottle sprayers that don’t have a pressure valve.

@@thedetailingworkshop2689 I've just converted one of my (regulated) bottles and it works like a charm! What a brilliant idea, kudos to you Sir!
@matsudakodo5 ай бұрын
Look at the max psi and don't exceed that. Might be good to print a label with the max psi and stick it on the bottle.
@thedetailingworkshop26895 ай бұрын
You can. However these spray bottles have a release valve. I just fill it until the valve releases. It’s full and need exceeded the max. If it doesn’t have a release valve then yes, a label is good.

My "old faithful" would be the Meguiar's Ultimate Compound + Ultimat Polish. I have a very similar menu. Option 1 - Wash + Wax I'll typically wash, clay, and use something like Meguiar's M06 Cleaner Wax, or 3D Speed. Option 2 - Polishing and Protection This one will be a "one stage" polishing service followed by a wax, sealant, lite or full coating. Option 3 - Correction + Protection. Here is where I'll bring out the heavy artillery, follow with a finishing polish and protection.

These cars are used for parts delivery by Napa and Advance auto parts. I’ve seen Toyota corrolla’s,Pontiac matrix and Nissan sentra’s like this.

I’ve been dealing with that for 23 years Phil. I’m in the Audio Video Industry, both residential and commercial, and I get that in the residential field only. Clients are under the impression that because they’re spending high in the six figures for a smart home system that they can just add work that they did not pay for or that was not in the “scope of work”. I even had a client complain and threatened not to pay there final bill because my guys wouldn’t help the movers with the furniture. Moving furniture is not my job!! Documentation is key to CYA…🥴👍🏽 A signed document will save a lot of headaches. Keep up the grind brotha. I have a passion for detailing and I find myself watching your videos everyday! 👊🏽👍🏽🙏🏽

Put my business' backside out there on social media...got it! ;) but on a serious note: I wish someone would explain the widespread staff shortage issue in the workplaces! I can't wrap my mind around the mindset. I've worked since I was 15 (over 40 years ago now) officially, I was actually detailing. cutting grass, whatever I could since I was probably 12 or less. Where does this mass of humanity get their walking around money? How do they live? Are they seriously happy having NO direction in life and never having a "job well done!"? Splain' it at me please!
@thedetailingworkshop2689 Жыл бұрын
Hi. Yes! Exactly!🤣😎👍🏼. Yeah it’s strange. I have heard so many friends having issues trying to hire. We have never had employees so I really can’t speak to much on the matter. But from what I see other businesses dealing with, it’s a major problem and from what I can gather will eventually hit a plateau. This generation will come crawling back once the government funding and living with everyone’s family gets worn out! That’s my unofficial prediction…but who knows, maybe I’m on to something?
