Yes, thanks for your input there. The largest boat was the Gloria Colita, but from what we understand is that she was found half submerged with torn sails off the Bermuda Triangle, that was in 1940. The mystery of this boat just got more mysterious for me. 😊 Bob Dylan's water pearl met her demise in 1985. Poor boats.

Sitting with the shipwrights in Lo Bay back in ’96 at the ‘Yacht Club” I was told the tale of the Water Pearl. They attributed the bad luck to Mr Dylan’s representative, who upon completion of the craft, had broken with the custom of having the Head Shipwright proudly deliver the craft to its owner. In this case he was in Hawai’i. The representative, a stage manager kind of guy not a sailor promptly ran it aground down by the Panama Canal. I later worked for Mr Dylan 3 years running 06-08 and was sought out by older crew folk to hear the tale as Bob kept it a mystery-as he does most things.

Someone who visited the museum last year told me that the navigator during that journey had ended up settling in Carriacou, but never want to talk about the journey.
