Fun detail for Lucas' track, Me And the Boys. The chorus includes the line, "the drummer plays a beat too long and the whole damn song starts to fall apart." If you pay attention while in Lucas' cabin, you'll see that the only instrument there is a drum pad. You missed a bunch of lore, but here's the basic run-down: Agent Rainbow was first developed 30 years prior to the game as a fear-based weapon to save lives during war. It was resurrected and being developed in Milton Haven (a small town with it's own harbor), but the strain their testing put on the overworked power station led to a blackout, leaving one of their own ships to run aground and contaminate the local water supply. This led to an increase in crime, violence, and anxiety throughout the town, not just among Desmond's patients. Rosemary James discovered that it could connect people subconsciously and realizing how dangerous that was, tried to stop the research, but was betrayed by a member of her team. She made contact with Lucas with the intent to turn over documentation, but she was taken and then eliminated, leaving Lucas to flee with, presumably, the documentation she'd brought to him. The game ends with Lucas rescuing Desmond from being eliminated, and the two going into hiding until they can blow the whistle on the whole operation.

So, that little chirp every time you get near inkblots is a clue that the radio device is _also_ a weapon. It can 1-shot the little guys and takes 3-4 on the big ones. However, it has a 7-second recharge, so you have to do a bit of running, but it takes zero ammunition. If you really want to hear all 10 of Lucas' session fragments, you can find a compilation on YT. They're well worth the listen if you're interested in the story. Rosemary contacted Lucas. From tape 3 (and her vinyl): "radio man... from the war." Her initial contact was when Lucas was offering his condolences to Desmond about Tonia's death. The message Lucas leaves on the answering machine in Desmond's office says, "They took her," referring to Rosemary. The fact that Lucas was seeing Desmond has led to what is happening to Desmond in the game. Virginia was affected because of the contamination of the water, as noted in the message in the Water Treatment Facility. Max from the accident while he was transporting the Agent Rainbow material (you cut off his tape where he commented on how the stuff affected him). Lucas, of course, was first affected when he was exposed as part of the experiments during the war, 30 years ago. Allen is the most interesting, as it's noted he was born in Montauk, NY, which is one of the places on Lucas' conspiracy board. He was born right in the middle of the period where Agent Rainbow was originally being tested, so the nightmares he's always had could potentially be a sign that he was exposed around the time of his birth.

You went past a truck half sunk into the road during tape 2. If you go into the trailer, there's a half-written incident report Max started on the same day he was fired. During tape 3, the note about the lure pill getting mixed up in a shipment and causing an incident - that was Max's shipment. The accident he was fired for wasn't even his fault.

I did initially plan on doing something with the door and here it is - you were supposed to find the keys in one of the lockers and once you opened that door, you would find Peter and the lab assistant brutally torn by the Alien, so yeah, a bit dark I guess, but I didn't have enough "motivation" to do it lol.
