Definitely hg pills instead of mosfets! Talkback and echo. Amp section on top would be interesting and be a plus for thedash mount applications and thx ranger for supplying us with great radios over the years 👍

What would I like to see for a replacement? I would like to see real deal sideband stability like a Anytone (Ranger is kinda a joke when it comes to this) transistors, big analog meter. SSB stability is the big thing for me though. The price these radios cost I may as well buy a good HF rig. All that said, I like Ranger, they just need to get with the program to be competitive 🙂

I have a N2, worked great until it didn't. I suspect cold solder joint. Works until it gets warm, then modulation drops off

Something with HG transistors, and a digital readout similar to the 955 where you can see SWR and signal at a glance, but with traditional knobs.

Pills for sure... can we put those on top of the radio for once??🤔 Maybe oversized power wires more than sufficient for anything it could ever do!! Echo, echo delay, rf power, unlocked clarifier..... im asking a bit much. Let's start there 😁

My UNIDEN PC122XL radio CB has much better receive & transmit on sideband than my COBRA 148GTL CB radio ! My COBRA 148GTL radio was manufactured in Malaysia.

Great radio, i have one, the modulation out of the box is ok, could be better , president gives the service menu to folks reviewing these on KZbin, but wont give it to me, none of them will either.
