I find the rf-gain meter a poor choice from President. They should have made it a modulation-meter or swr so you dont have to look at a full meter the whole time Other than that, ofcuz it should have been a base radio, like the first Washington, but thats also my opinion. Tnx for the test.

Would recommend a heavy duty 12 gauge power cord with this radio. It is pulling some amps. Looks like a sub par power cord in the box.

Peak output drops with the rf power turned down, best I can tell you for now. Knew I would not cover absolutely everything.

Single side band I believe. New to CB radios myself & trying to learn but not surprised you got no reply. For some reason there's not much beginner videos that explain things to complete noobs.
