I commented the boxing issue on an other video of yours. DB, and before them Sony, honestly have very litle clue about how peolpe want to enjoy the game. They have some thought on how THEY want people to enjoy the game, but their visions are just not realistic. They seem to have very litle knowledge about who actually playes their game to enjoy it compared to who play it to make money. This is imo their main fault when it comes to addressing boxing.

You say you can not use MQ on Teek. The correct thing to say is that you can not use MQ on any server. For some reason lots of poeple had the assumption it was an accepted tool, but it is really not, you will most likely get minimum suspended at one point if you keep using it. The 1 tool the seems to accept (so far) is Isboxer + probably other tools that does not automation of EQ. It is the automation they seem to dislike the most. Personally I do not undestand why they have not yet implementet boxing tools for the game or at least minimum made a list of trusted/accepted tools to use. Pople have been boxing since almost day 1, and they still do not seem to get it 25 years in. I understand that they are against boxing to a certain degree. But I live in Europe my self, and there are so few people playing my hours it is just impossible and impractical waiting around all day long to find even 1 person to help me out. It is more people on Teek, that is correct, but even on Teek it is far from perfect. You can still fo for hours on Teek without getting help for what you actually want to do.

I always box Paladin/Shaman and necro or monk dependong on era and fill the rest group with guildies only so i have someone to talk to lol but i do like the social aspect. But i dont trust PUG healers

Monks are lest liked for a few resins. They are classed as tanks not DPS witch pushes players away. They seem to drop off the map in most expansions because they get almost nothing in skills and times. They remain the after about 60 on live.

If your life depends on it, do not, repeat, DO NOT, play on Bertoxic server, especially with Eternal Sovereign Guild and their toxic leadership. Without Due Process, they will remove you from their junior high school-like guild and steal all of your DKP points for themselves. ES is the worst guild ever.

Enchanter/Cleric is fun, but charm break is a SoB

So I bought the Mini pc's from your link. I am using a VGA cable to HDMI adapter and the monitor gets no signal. I even plugged in miniusb to a block to add power to the dongle and still no video. How do you get yours to work? I have 2 hooked up to 1 monitor and it doesnt see either input. Please help trying to box on TEEK.

How is there a server with 50 people ? Is it a single guild

Just came back to EQ Live about a week now and all 5 of my acts were all banned (flat out) no suspensions: Detected third Party Software. But as i read more on redguides, i exceeded the 10hr play rule in my last session, i never played afk. Thats the only thing I can think of. I woke up today with an email at 9:43am. Warrior, Cleric, Shaman, bard, Monk...All F2P Cazic Live

Almost all of your issues are resolved by just joining a guild and focusing on some of your toons. The game is meant to be played with people. The game becomes boring and starts to die out when people don't play together. Ban waves can 100% happen to you based off past actions and not current actions. If someone reported you 3 months ago, you could be banned now from this wave due to that. Just because you had a fresh install doesn't mean anything.

If you’re using old accounts that did use mq with in the past, you’re definitely on a ban list. It’s part of the obfuscation of preventing people from avoiding the detection to make the bans delayed and randomized.

Well im not loosing any sleep over this, you do you, but as a returning player i love Teek, and huge boxers are mostly anti social botting farmers who ruins the playing experience

AI eqemu servers are almost here, im working on it and AI npc are good. They have a bad habit of lying about 20% of the time tho... think i made AI trolls sometimes. lol.

how do you get the data? just doing /who all [class]? are they averages for each day or just one sample for a specific hour?

Love the content, stick with us! Tower gear becomes a lot less relevant next expansion and there is a lot of good on Teek despite the PL Groups and Farmers.

was level 60 bis in a couple weeks, just from playing and early jboot farming, etc. Made my first Krono on day 2, selling banded armor in the tunnel, whew! 13 pieces of crap to handle for 100 plat. (KR was ~800 at the time). Got bored fast, and tower gear is ridiculous, totally ruined the server. I have not logged in, in several weeks (5 or 6 weeks?) still having fun on Oakwynd with my guild. Sadly, Oakwynd is now, very much, Bring your own friends.

I created a few characters on Teek just to explore whether people have moved mostly away from the newbies area yet or not. There are still a lot, maybe 10 to 15, people in each of the newbie areas leveling. Quite a few were powerleveling, but there were also a few people leveling just the normal way. I still haven't been banned, but I'm am concerned that they are paying more attention to boxers on Teek. I'm true boxing on Agnarr and I'm having no issues with being banned. Do you think they might be just randomly banning boxers on Teek? Trying to decide if I should create a boxing group there now or wait a couple more months for the ban hammer to subside a little.

Playing EQ with 1 or even 2 characters is extremely boring. There's almost nothing 1 or 2 players can do by themselves except farm old world items like goblin skull earring or work on tradeskills. If the other players I regularly group with can't log in, there's literally no point in me playing because there's nothing I can do. Having to organize everyone logging in via Discord, then working on things like ToV farming for a few hours is exhausting. There's only so long I can keep going like this before just giving up and going to a more modern game.

Powerleveling hasn't been impacted much. Good riddance to the automated mage box armies auto-leveling in Guk.

Just ban about 80% of mages and that’ll take out about 95% of bots. I can’t count how many times I’ve seen someone run by me on Teek with 10+ mages on follow 😂

Thomas, thanks so much for the Teek leveling guides. I finally got my chars up to level 20 and had no idea where to go next but your guide showed all sorts of places. Already got three chars to level 28 thanks to your guide.

I don't know anyone that has been banned or suspended personally but I can say that it does not seem like the power levelers selling their services have been effected. Maybe some were but the chat feels like nonstop selling PLing still.

I have finally created a bunch of characters on Teek, probably 40ish (about half are less than 10 still). However I have been playing only 6 at a time. I sometimes buff with a couple of other characters but I logged them off right after the buff. Most of the time I don't actually NEED the buffs so I don't bother. I have not been banned although I frequently get some characters running circles around my guys and jumping up and down. I'm unsure what they are doing. Does that happen to you too? I get bored quickly so after an hour on any particular 6, I have to switch to a totally different group of 6 to keep my interest with totally different ways to kill. I fought with 5 monks and a cleric today. That was interesting. lol

i think your play style is rare. You box alot of characters, but not to race to 60 or farm for profit.

These are the same people that took your moneys for EQNext and never refunded it . I'm not surprised.

Yeah, krono is a problem I feel. That would be great to have a server with the Teek rules and no krono. I had thought that they could also do something like making it so you couldn't move krono from server to server. They would be server specific so you would buy with real money and choose the server you want the krono on. Then someone couldn't come to the new server and already have tons of krono that they farmed on some other server, etc.

I've no interest in using MQ, I do use isbox cause I like to play a few characters but I just dont want to risk it, i play live and have had a toon that's 25 years old and would hate to have it banned so never touched MQ. BUT, like everyone else on live i dont care about MQ, I care about people who abuse the game and other people. And sure they use MQ to do that but if you take MQ away they still exist and will still do it, so it's not a factor. So MQ is not the factor in what impacts the game for the rest of us. I want what ever tools helps people keep playing to be available as long as it is not taking from my experience, and the people I know who use MQ are only adding to my experience. So this is where what Daybreak is doing gets under my skin cause, weds the forums lit up and lost a few guildies for the week to permanent, but not losing sleep over it, it's a known consequence so is what it is BUT while waiting and chatting and posting for servers to come up I got the sneaking suspicion they're going to still continue to ignore the bot farmers. My server has 2 main established and known groups that disrupt their zones AFK farming. One purely account farming, the other bigger operation account and raid loot farming. Decided about an hour after servers are up i'm gonna check their 2 main spots they afk up their armies until they're of level they "graduate" to the annoying side of running around bot farming and kill stealing. Sure enough, both were back up in fool force, completely untouched. I just cant fathom this, all these waves and they still absolutely refuse to touch these well known, well established (and know they're known cause they've come up in the council of neck beards with DB) bot farmers.

If you have used MQ ( Especially the RedGuides Build ) on Mischief you are on a list. Even if you don't use MQ on Teek, they will continue to suspend accounts during each wave that are on the list. They do not care if anything was detected on Teek since the last suspension wave. They will still suspend around 30-50% ( a random portion ) of the accounts that are just on the list of people with previous detection on other servers. It doesn't matter if you stopped using it on Teek. This information is confirmed.

I've seen a lot of perma-bans on people who haven't done more than run a log parser in the background. For myself, 2 of my 6 got a 7-day vacation. I do use MQ2 for my 6-box group, mostly for the ability to broadcast macro commands from a single toon AND a /follow that actually works. Thank God DBG is out there keeping everyone safe from me doing backflagging on my toons for PoP/GoD content in instanced zones; I was probably upsetting a lot of people that never even saw me and definitely weren't competing for a spawn or event trigger. Yay. Heard a bunch of people say they were quitting, but DBG don't care about us on Live servers; their money is made on TLPs, which require the monthly goodness of a Gold subscription to play on. They just automatically assume anyone on a Live server using any kind of 3rd party software is using a 54-man bot army on F2P status, so no skin off their nose if those players get wiped out. 🤷‍♂️

There is lots of people on Teek using MQ and showeq maps. Major guilds several of them, officers included. I see it every day all the time. Pler's work for DBG they drive all kr sales, they will not ban them ever or EQ will go out of business overnight. Regular people get reported by griefers even if not cheating and it's an auto suspension.

I want to make this clear, because I have never seen someone else mention it. IF YOU HAVE MQ2 RUNNING WHILE IN THE BAZ YOU WILL GET BANNED!! If you see my earlier comment, I couldn't figure out why, but now I know. All I did was log my trader in after playing a full group and they got me. Obviously Im not tampering with the market but they seem to be very strict about the bazaar.

how do you set up multiple boxes on one monitor what setting am i looking for while buying a monitor. I can 3 box but used to do tabs now on teek i need 3 separate boxes. I have a lap top and wanna run 2 mini pc's to one screen. I do not want a kvm. What is the process of setting that up?
