Huh?! The whole point is that the magnifier is integral to the mount. They are one and the same.

That's normal even with the OEM mount. The chamfer along the middle channel of the mount is what's interfacing with the optic providing stability and support.

Strike Industries has a mount just like that. It adjusts to user preference. I have never used it but yeah.

@@younggun62369 I’ve only ever owned two magnifier mounts. A vortex side throw and this one. The side throw is a great idea imo but the centerfold of the Unity takes the cake. It’s always stowed and never grabbing for what’s not its own. It’s also really handy for moving in and out of vehicles, there’s nothing to catch the steering wheel, a seat belt, garments covering it for concealed purposes. It’s just a better design all around imo. If you think you can make em for cheaper and the same quality of materials & workmanship then start up a company and start making optic mounts. Your time isn’t free, charge appropriately. Skys the limit Shooter 🤙🏻

Same, my screw got stuck and rendered the whole mount useless. Contacted Unity about it and they basically just said sorry. Waste of $200.

I can see in the future they make some sort of attachment that can be plugged in for charging. It would be even better if it was portable too. That would be genuinely so Big Brain.
