Idk why people have been sleeping on the paddle brush. I agree with the other comment about the denman paddle brush d38. I have never used it but i use brushes with smaller balls on the bristles and have had no issues. I was looking for a denman dupe before i pay $30 for it but it may be worth the price. Glad you revisited this. Love the style as well. You should do this more often. Wish i knew how to conrow/flat twist 😂

I like the denman D38 paddlebrush since it doesn't have those little balls on the ends that have a tendency to get caught in curly hair. (I believe the unbrush works similarly.) Your hair is growing!! Twists or cornrows are my-go style when traveling as well.😊 Your final style turned out SO cute!!! Without knowing you did it, they look professional to me. I've been discovering that while I have to really avoid oils on my scalp, grease works AMAZINGLY. 🙌🏼

If you think you need more add water first, but if you still think you need more add some more. And have you tried AG Curl Fresh Definer as a leave-in yet? To me it looks like it’ll be the perfect leave-in for coily hair types.
