A traveler’s GMT like this one is designed to move the date backwards and forwards as the person travels across time zones. There’s just no “danger zone” for adjusting the date.

The OEM t fit bracelet is around 800 pounds and the rubber strap with the t fit clap is around 600 pounds. The bracelet clasp doesn’t work with the rubber and visa versa. I’ve ordered one and I think I might get a leather strap and throw the t fit bracelet on my bb58 blue providing the steel is the same shade which I’m not sure about as well

I know I'm late to the party, so to speak, but I finally picked up this watch - and love it. I like the stainless keeper, but the corners are very sharp and start hurting after a while. Fortunately, a few minutes with a file fixed that problem. Seiko really should have chamfered the corners that are in contact with your wrist. I left the "public facing" corners untouched. The only thing I want to do is replace the plastic shroud with stainless steel. I'm still trying to decide between brushed which is great, or PVD black to keep the original look. Otherwise, this is an awesome watch. The first day I wore it, several random strangers asked about it. Apparently, it's a real head-turner - not just to watch aficionados. Oh, and I kept the blue sticker on the case back. The back is highly polished and is a super-powered scratch magnet without the sticker.

I tried this watch wanting to like it, but it just looks too vintage for me with all that gilt. I prefer the crisp hands and silver accents of the BB58 blue. Hope they will release a GMT with more contemporaneous features.

I bought this on Saturday. It’s lush. I was in the AD to have a new watch sized for my wife that I’d bought elsewhere, and have the GMT Master II strap adjusted. Mentioned I’d registered interest in it on launch day at 8am. Said they’d only seen a couple and didn’t have it. Stated I wouldn’t be in a position to purchase another watch this year unless that was it. They went out back & brought it out.

Congratulations. However, Tudor is a wannabe Rolex. that justifies why tudor is one of the most flipped watches on the market. you buy it you think you got a Rolex, and then you will never be satisfied unless you flip it and buy the real deal.

What wrong with Tudor, in Chinese is mean drag on the ground band luck! The hand on the watch is so friggin ugly! And why follow Rolex? Snow flake hand what the fuck is that! Nothing snow flake at all! The value I. Trading is next to nothing! I own 2 BB 54 and the BB pro. All sold at a lost, big lost! Never I will recommend a Tudor design is so outdated and rubbish. Only one thing good the movement! The strap watch look are so outdated of style!

Seiko does still produce very good watches however this Seiko GMT sport is not as great as their competition such as San Martin. I have been a fan of Seiko watches as far as I can remember going back to 1979 when I served in the U S Army.. My first nice new watch back then was a new good looking Seiko for around $120 U S dollars. This reviewed Seiko watch again is nice but for $335.00 U S dollars and with a busy dial with much writing in the dial it does need a little less writing to make it cleaner with less clutter in the dial. New on the fly adjustment clasp should have been available with this watch. Thank you for your channel and in depth review. In my humble but sincere opinion considering the factors both good and not entirely good and open to improvement my score to this Seiko GMT I score at 7 points out of 10 points scale. 70 percent out of 100 is not terrible but does calls out for higher degree of a greater observation by Seiko to catch up with the watch global market.. I bought one of the first Tudor GMTs. Soon as I had the watch in my hand. I turned the bezel. It was so noisy and clunky that I was so embarrassed, I didn’t let any of my friends touch the watch or put it in their hand at all. Almost felt like there was something wrong with the Bezzle. I sent it back to the Rolex Service center in New York City. It was there for several months. Finally came back to me. Then the date. It was skipping between days and it would show half a digit. It just plain got stuck. Back to New York it went. I kept it exactly 6 months. Then sold it. So essentially the watch was at the service center in New York more than it was on my wrist. Soon as I took the watch out of the box, it just felt flimsy. wearing a Rolex GMT since 1967. Then buying the Tutor GMT. What can I say for me? It was just not a very good experience. I’m not bad mouthing the watch. I’m just telling everybody what happened with the watch that I bought. At the moment I’m looking at my Rolex GMT 2022 on my wrist. I’m happy. Tudor tried to fast track this watch and get it on the market before Basil. It will never hold its value like the Rolex GMT.
