In New Mexico, they call it an arroyo. Here in Arizona, it's a wash. I haven't heard gully since I was stationed in North Carolina. You from back east?

Fantastic video!!! Wish i could dig with a backhoe. Still wondering though about the Morristown area claims. I below to bothe the GPAA and the Roadrunners. A ton of claims up there, but i am sure not finding much. I am finding gold, but 0.10 for 200 shovels full through my drywasher isnt worth the effort. Wish we could get together for an hour or two to just walk some of those claims to see if i am doing something wrong. I have checked my tailings off my drywasher and there is no gold so i know i am running it correctly. I am not trying to make a living doing this but hope to get alot closer to a half a gram per trip. I also live closer to the Tucson area and would love to explore down that way if there were some areas that had some good gold. I gave been at this desert mining now for over three years and just cant figure it out. Thanks again Red

Do you ever use an old-school gold pan to find place in water or is that a waste these days?
@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK9 күн бұрын
Taking a sample from bedrock and using a pan to find the gold is quite traditional, and used often

@@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK sweet, thanks for knowledge. I've never looked for gold in my life, but want to. It seems I never see folks using those old pans in water. It seem metal detectors are where it's out these days. I'm way too new to buy a dry washer or water sluice. I will buy a Minelab. I will buy the best one (I don't care how much it cost.) @@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK so I know youve spent some time in the Mayer area. About once a year I get down from Alaska to spend some time with Family in Prescott. Last year i brough an old SD 2100v2 with a docs screamer kit on it that I had bought because it was the only PI I could find that I could afford & I was sure I would need a PI. Found lots of trash but no gold. I have a GB 2 that Ive had for years. When I come down this fall would I be better off spending my time with the SD 2100 or just bringing my GB2?
@IBRAKEFORBEDROCK2 күн бұрын
@@PVW1960 Theres no simple answer to your question but ..... Most of the gold is small out here so the GB2 will excell on that when Hunting BEDROCK.....Stick to the bedrock when using the GB2. I think you have a greater chance of success.

@@russellhiller4198 you mean by the position of the label? Coils cannot be installed backwards, it’s only the perception of what should be forward based on the label alone.
