Looked like a contact zone or a dike you were following up over the hill. That's the problem with Arizona, the gold is mostly still in the host rock in those zones, just eroding out. Good to see you gentlemen proving it's not all gone. They took out the hanging wall at that vein. It's weird that the tailings are on the high side. The claim sign must have bleached out since the war. All good indicators.

The rock pile near the Adit is possibly their old high-grade material that was set aside. Also that nugget looks like it's straight from the vein. Great video!

2019 bought my first detector, and was travelling to see family in phx, stopped out by quartzite off the freeway, turned it on ( I had no idea what to do) and in 20 min found my 1st nugget... went back 3 months later and found its brother 10ft away... using google earth, its in that zone of darker material... I live near coloma, and found dozens of nuggets in the area along with every pan has gold in it at the river... I love the AZ desert! 1st detector was a Garrett gti 2500, since I got the GM1000... that was a game changer

The GPX is a crazy good detector! Just curious, could the Axiom here the little ones the GPX could here?

Honestly, the GPX has an edge but its close. We tested two of the deeper small nuggets back to back and the GPX heard e`m with an experienced ear. The question becomes will you find 3,500.00 less in gold by saving that amount on the cost difference. I dont think so..... The axiom in the "lite" version is very good at only 3K compared to 6.5K of the GPX6K If you could find a GPX6000 used, I would do that or just go with a new Axiom. They are both great detectors

I agree with Adam the 6k hits the smallest of gold especially with a Goldhawk coil but that puts another 500 to the price. Where the Axiom will work better in certain areas as it’s amazing on hot ground where the 6k just screams can’t ignore the hot rocks plus the single coil on the Axiom lite version kicks butt and the full kit version of Axiom comes with 2 great coils. If you have used to SDC2300 and know how it’s ignores hot rocks well that’s how the Axiom is but better as I personally think it’s more sensitive. I’ve had all 3 machines. In my opinion the Axiom is the best bang for your buck

The Axiom wasnt out at the time but I maybe would have gone that route instead with the price difference but i wouldnt sell my GPX for it haha. I enjoy the videos!

You need to sit down in the kitchen with a cup of coffee and think of a list then laminate it then check it off before you leave that way your backpack has everything in it including a little tiny cooler with beer and water that way you will find gold because gold is attracted to 😂😂beer😂😂❤❤ just like we men are but thank you for the video I hope you find lots and lots and lots of gold maybe even the motherload

Gold will block out gold signals. A really rich vain Will not give you a clear signal. A bunch of nuggets will not give you a clear signal. I wore out at least a half a dozen bugs and they are extremely tough except for the threshold. That is not the original Goldbug two. They recalled all the Goldbug twos. It was too hard for the general public to operate. Would love to have one somebody sent mine in for a favor and got back what we have now. Fisher has dropped a bag all the pros used to use them. I had number 327 off the line my first Bug.
