Florida has the treasure beach to metal detect for Spanish gallion gold... many very extremely valuable golden relics have been found there over the years and there's literally tons and tons of REAL treasure laying out there waiting to be found

Yeah, I grew up in Arizona. I don’t know why my dad never decided to go gold prospecting so therefore I didn’t have any grid for it. I moved Oklahoma start watching the outdoor channel gold fever I get fired up I buy a sluice pan classifier metal detectors there’s no gold in Oklahoma.

Winter is settled here, the snow patch and frozen ground made us to stay home for a 5 month straight and watching desert stuff, well as you, jeff william, even gly shorts!

Not bad at all for prospecting for new areas your windshield time was just as long as your detecting time I reckon lol every time I get to quartzite I spend as much time looking at the geology as I do detecting so many cool structures out there. How you decide where you go detect?

Great question! If I’m in a known gold area , I’d start with the bedrock in the gullies. We are usually always just winging it mostly. Then you may come across a spot that has detectable gold.
