Hi Carys both the food and the entertainment system is the same as economy. The main difference is leg room, priority boarding and 1 case is included in the cost which is a saving in itself. Hope that helps 👍

Hi Steve, I have been enjoying your videos a lot, and yes, I am well, thank you for asking (Wolves of Wiltshire video). I love the tour of the Hilton, it's always fun to see the rooms, as I stayed in several last year. Do you play piano? I'm just curious, as you walked past a piano and said you were "tempted". Tempted to play it? I'm happy for you that you got to see Egypt and all it has to offer. What an experience for you! I'm such a history buff and what you are seeing reminds me of when I saw the King Tut exhibit in Seattle one year, plus my parents and I drove up to Vancouver, Canada and saw the Ramses II exhibit. Also exciting was the China exhibit in Seattle. All of these people in ancient times were so innovative. Also like the hum of the jet engine while you were up in the sky, it was kind of like an ASMR thing for me, so relaxing. Be safe on your travels, and thanks for bringing everyone along! ❤❤❤

Hi Gwen, nice to hear from you again and so glad that you’re enjoying my latest videos. For whatever reason it seems the room tours I do are always popular but it’s nice to get an idea of where you will or could be staying. Egypt is incredible. It was certainly on my bucket list and some incredible sites some of which you have still yet to see. I am saving the very best for last I assure you and it is phenomenal. I missed out on the king tut exhibition when it came to London however as you have probably seen I was so lucky to see the coffins and the death mask in its natural origin at the Egyptian Museum with a cheeky bit of filming. It’s incredible what they have built and how they built it. Thank you again for coming along, the more the merrier, everyone is welcome as it’s a pleasure to share my amazing memories. I also know that I am very lucky to see these places firsthand and a privilege to do so. Some of the great things coming up are the Karnack and Luxor temple, the valley of the Kings, the tomb of Tutankhamen, and I even get to go to a Nubian village and go back to school 🤫

Hi Gwen, thanks again for watching and your kind comments. The Geladas always bring a smile to my face as I imagine the Tina Turner connection in my eyes.😂 You’re very right the environment is just as much important to the insects as well and the Bristol zoo project has done such a great job in their environments. The walking is not too bad quite central to be honest but it’s worth it to see all these amazing animals in the natural environment.

Hi Steve, Sorry for the delay, I have been wanting to thank you for all the information about the elephant, Anne. Very interesting, and yes, when different zoos, etc. are thinking of putting elephants together, they do run the risk of them not getting along with each other. I never like to hear that animals were not treated well at any time during their lives. I am glad to read that Anne has a pool she can get into, and is well taken care of. The zoo here that I am a member of also has one elephant, Suki, she is 59 years old, they work and play with her every day. In THIS video, it looks like the liions are really enjoying themselves when they close their eyes and lift their faces up, I guess to feel the warmth of the sun. Looking forward to the next video! I hope you are having a good week! Gwen

Wow! What a delightful surprise to see a video pop up on a Monday morning! Good way to start the week! Anne is very precious. I hope she has a friend there, as elephants are social creatures, and kind of need to be in a herd, or at least with one other elephant, or so I've heard. I'm also thinking about that river there. I don't know how far Anne is from the river, or how deep the river is, or whether it would even be safe for her to be in the river, but elephants love to be in the water, and slopping around in mud, too. Anyway, I hope she is happy and healthy. Thanks for sharing, Steve! Gwen
@STEVIESWORLDUK
@STEVIESWORLDUK 2 ай бұрын
Hi Gwen so glad it was a nice surprise for you and a good start to your week. Anne is the only elephant at the park, they thought about getting her a friend however because she has a purpose built house, if for some reason she didn’t get on with that elephant they would have to divide the house in two which would make her home slightly smaller for her. I believe Anne was rescued from a circus in Germany about 11 years ago where she was badly beaten and treated. She is quite old now, in her 60s and has really bad arthritis. Technically she is retired and Longleat built her this special home to live in. She dictates where she goes at all times which is why it is very rare to see her outside especially if it’s cold because of her medical condition. Anne is not near a river, but she has a specially created pond, that gives her specialised access into the water if she chooses to go in, again to support her with her medical condition. I know that Longleat will always do the best for Anne, the keepers love her and she is well looked after. The fact that they spent so much money building a purpose built house for her to retire in says a lot in itself. It’s not about the money. Anne is well-known by the locals and loved and it’s always special when you catch a glimpse of her and that she can please herself in whatever she does. She does have some small friends that share her enclosure which are 3 goats I believe who she often keeps in check. Anne also enjoys specialist care from a dedicated team of keepers around the clock. Thanks again for watching and glad you enjoyed meeting Anne.

Hi Steve! Sorry for the delay in writing this comment, I did see your video of the painted dogs at Longleat when you first premiered it. I'm so glad you were able to visit them, as I know you were looking forward to it. They are beautiful, and that pure white fur on their tails is quite a contrast from the other colors on them. They make decisions and communicate by sneezing? How interesting! It's a good thing the camel in your car wasn't communicating with you the same way, as he (she?) was right in your face! You would have gotten a faceful of ...... something. The painted dogs look so comfortable lying in the grass together. Great close-ups, and I love your narrative ... very educational and interesting. I also saw last week your video on the Amazement place. I never saw anything like that before! Very unique, and I like things that stretch my imagination and make me think "outside the box". It's also nice and relaxing in there. The solar eclipse wasn't noticeable up here in Olympia, Washington where I live, but it did pass over the Dallas Zoo where you were, and a lot of the animals, like the elephants, the gorillas (probably the same ones you saw) and other animals thought it was time to go inside and go to sleep, so the footage on the news showed them all grouping together and heading into their buildings where they sleep at night. I wonder if they were confused when, four minutes and 17 seconds later, it got light again. If I were one of the gorillas, I would be saying, "Hang on ..... didn't we just go to bed four minutes ago?!?" It's funny to imagine what they thought. I'm having a bit of nostalgia today. One year ago this very second, I was in my room at the Sofitel Hotel at Heathrow, it was 5:00 in the morning UK time, and I had just arrived the day before. It was the start of another wonderful time in the UK, like I always have whenever I am there. A bit sad today, as I wish I were still there ..... or there again. Happy travelling! Gwen

Hi Gwen so pleased you got to see the video of the painted dogs. They are great and I can’t wait to follow their adventures. You’re absolutely right that would’ve been a catastrophe to have the camel trying to communicate to me by sneezing. There was enough saliva as it was, thank you for your kind comments. The wake the tiger was a strange concept and I didn’t know what to expect but I’m so glad I went. It brings back memories for me for you to mention the gorillas in Dallas. I remember at 5 pm all the animals waited near the gates to go back inside so no wonder they wanted to go in during the eclipse 😂 Hope you manage to make it back to England one day, thanks again for following my travels!
