@RMTTR640 we sold the truck. It is a MACK transmission but honestly, I can't tell you if it's a triplex. It's very possible that you are correct.

@StanleyBlack-xf3hv naw, the front axle is upgraded, rated at 16K - 20K depending on which tires you run. That engine is heavy, but nowhere near overweight

Did that belong to Titan heavy haul in Colorado at one time ? I saw a lighter color green Pete with the same engine back around 2000. Spoke with the owner. He gave the specs. Mack 18sp, with 4spd auxiliary transmission. Exhaust brake, because no Jake Brakes are available. It had a klam driveline retarder too.

I want to stretch it and put on tandems and a pusher axle anyway, so i stretch all my trucks and run all yellow pre 99. Tjis truck is a orphan as a single axle, nobody pulling a camper can run an old 97' 379. What does the truck sell for realistically?

@growthefarmup2606 we build and sell them on a regular basis... lots of guys pull RV/camper trailers, horse trailers, cattle trailers, double hay trailers, car hauler trailers, any set of double trailers (double bottom dumps, double dry vans, etc) Sticker price is $85K +/-

No, there's no reason a decent weld would break. Since we installed this one we have been fabricating our own mounts. There is no reason to pay for shipping misc pieces of metal across the country. Since we have to fabricate pieces, weld it together and paint it anyway, it is easier to just buy the metal locally. At least for us, because we have several local steel suppliers.
