Wish I could afford a 2024 Wrangler. They've gone up in price by 48.6% in 6 yrs
@LuthorvilleCA2 ай бұрын
The base Wrangler MSRP was around $30,000 in 2018. The base Wrangler MSRP is around $32,000 in 2024. That's only a 6.6% increase.
@jgg2042 ай бұрын
@@LuthorvilleCA Comparing base models is not an accurate way to measure the price increase of the Wrangler, bc it's the trims and extras which have made the pricing so expensive (not comparing base model 2 doors). My 2018 Wrangler JKU with options (ie dual top and several others) was $37,000 MSRP. To get the same build today in a JLU it's $58,000 MSRP. That's 56.7% increase. There is no improvement of the JLU vs JKU that's worth ~ $21,000 difference. Across the Wrangler lineup, all trims, the average price increase from 2018-2024 was 48.6%. You can look this up

Perfect. Too many people are obsessed with venting the exhaust and all this other frilly stuff. If you are venting the volume of the air inside the generator every few seconds. If there is negative pressure in that shed. Your set.
@LuthorvilleCA2 ай бұрын
Thank you. I thought the same thing. Many of the sheds people create are overkill. Even a weak 20" box fan moves at least 1200 CFM. Most box fans move a _lot_ more than that. That shed is only about 10 cubic feet at the most. So, a 20" box fan is plenty safe.

Thank you! Dumb question for anyone: For a shotgun, still hold face AGAINST the gun, just like a 22 rife? I'm a newbie, with a shotgun that seems, to me, to be very powerful (hurt shoulder after firing like he mentioned). Still keep face planted against it? Thanks!
@LuthorvilleCA4 ай бұрын
Yes, absolutely. Remember, the recoil goes backwards, not sideways, so you won't hurt your cheek. But, shotgun recoil is VERY powerful, so you really want to make sure you have the firearm locked firmly into your shoulder. If it's firmly braced against your shoulder, you can absorb the recoil painlessly. If you are too loose or have a gap between the butt of the stock and your shoulder, it will slam into your shoulder and leave a good bruise. I suggest starting with some light birdshot, as birdshot has the lowest recoil. Don't start with slugs, they really pack a punch.
@usaman73584 ай бұрын
@@LuthorvilleCA Thank you very much! Yeah, I learned the hard way. I should have started with the birdshot, lol. Much appreciated.

This is in my opinion the best made generator shed, but I have one question, do you think this will work with a bigger portable generator? Mine is Champion 9375, is that to big for this set up in your opinion?
@LuthorvilleCA5 ай бұрын
I don't know if that specific generator would fit in this specific box. Remember the larger the engine on the generator, the more heat it will produce, so you really want to make sure you have enough space and ventilation, so you don't melt the plastic or start a fire.

So did you put the gen set in the shed for protection from the elements or for sound reduction? Majority of people do it for sound reduction and protection from the weather is just a benefit of using a shed. With all your vents I can't imagine the sound being reduced maybe why you didn't do a noise level check with the generator running. Nice shed though I'll have to check it out!
@LuthorvilleCA7 ай бұрын
It was 100% for the weather, so I could run it in the rain. I didn't care about noise reduction since my closest neighbors are extremely far away.
