That's wonderful! Sounds like a great set. I bet that was a lot of fun. Come Monday is another crowd pleaser. I've played it with my band quite a bit this past summer.

That's a classic that I will definitely try to get to before long. For songs that were recorded with an upright, sometimes I will use a Nordimute on my electric bass to try and emulate the sound somewhat.

I've recently gotten into Country music and I'm finding that a lot of the songs have "easy" bass lines compared to Metal so I'm looking forward to learning some basic "Country" runs and such. @@msbritain ☺I still get nervous at gigs sometimes too. If I could go back in time and give myself some advice it would be this: Chord changes and rhythm are most important. Don't worry so much about memorizing each note in the tab. I would start by learning to play along to the song without looking at tab and just hitting the root note of each chord. This will help you memorize the form and have the basics to fall back on. Once you do that, you can go back to the tab for ideas on how to embellish a little more.
