Aw man! You’re an absolute STAR!! I just searched for that this afternoon and found nothing 🙄 I’m part of a duo, and we have a gig in two weeks time. My pal was going to do this solo because I had nothing (I’m still learning bass), and I just couldn’t work it out listening by ear. I’ve got 2 weeks to get this nailed 🤪 Thank you 🤗

@@JCountryBass Thank you! Im nervous as heck, but that’s a good thing, I think 🤪 I learned to play through lockdown, just using KZbin. I’m not great, but I’m having so much fun. We’re also doing Baby’s Got Her Blue Jeans On - I’m playing your tab on that one too 🤗 Such a fun tune to play 😛 Thanks again man. I keep coming back to your profile to check new stuff, I love it 🥰

@@msbritain ☺I still get nervous at gigs sometimes too. If I could go back in time and give myself some advice it would be this: Chord changes and rhythm are most important. Don't worry so much about memorizing each note in the tab. I would start by learning to play along to the song without looking at tab and just hitting the root note of each chord. This will help you memorize the form and have the basics to fall back on. Once you do that, you can go back to the tab for ideas on how to embellish a little more.

Good thing about Buck, you can always stick to the root 5 and add the other stuff as you learn it 😊. Thanks for this one.

Love the channel! I've been thrown into bass because my friends wanted to start a country band and these lessons are saving my life. I would really love to hear some Cross Canadian ragweed songs, specifically the song 17. I know its kind of more local and regional country music but Jeremy Plato's fills are eluding me on that one and I think a video on it would be very educational. Plato likes those 5 and 6 string basses though

I'm really glad to hear my channel is helping you out. I do have CCRs song Sick And Tired on my Patreon but I have not covered 17 yet. I can put it in our next poll here. I also offer commissioned tabs.

I'm guessing it's that Ab at the end. It's fine to not play it.

Absolutely. Thanks for the reminder. I will add it to the beginner list now.
