Great tutorial series, im amazed by this technic, thank you very much! I'm also curious about what kind of brushes you use, can you make a small video about this?

But all of these thumbnails are for completely different characters... Furthermore, some of those don't really showcase a character, but a story, an action of sorts, a vibe, not a character in their essence. It's like you don't even care what you're going to do as long as it looks good... i dont understand this tutorial, im sorry

I've been looking for artists that have a realistic trajectory. For me its easy to assume that an artist's journey was easy because they started early, had a community, and went to school for it. But someone who starts later and finds their way to it and succeeds... That's so inspiring to me. Thank you.

Thank you so much for this informative video! 🙏 ❤ Very underrated!! I have another question: How do you color your thumbnails without losing the values? I always seem to lose every good value when I try coloring it.. Is there a layer mode/work-around that works best? 😭

🎉🎉🎉 so good ! I have a question after watching your painting process that When you have to put a normal layer overall to create fog or to darken the background . Did you just do that after merged all the layers ?

very useful! could you please do more of these tutorial/demonstration of a character in an environment? I barely see any videos on that. it's mostly either concept art, landscape art or character art, but no video's explaining how to put a character INTO an environment and make it a cohesive story

I don't make thumbnails, but I'm now wondering whether it's a good thing to practice; I'm going to try this out because oftentimes I get stuck when drawing characters in scenes. Thanks for the helpful advice 😊

"The amount you're learning is about how much you're noticing the canvas changing." That's so true. As I've developed skills and experience in art, I've been able to notice more and more of what happens toward the end of the video. I remember a lot of videos where I'd think, "Why are you still going? It's done." But I get it now. I'd never verbalized it like that though.
