Fuck Me Liam O'Brien is excellent at emotional delivery. Another great example is his performance as Asura in Asura's Wrath. "I will never forgive you FOR MAKING MY DAUGHTER CRY" and "But still, you will live" stay rent free in my head.

I mean surely it wasn't an epic fight as matt thought it would be, but with only one of the characters not stunned for 10 turns any choice other than polymorph would probably have resulted in a full party kill so it was probably the most narrative satisfying outcome in the long run

One of my favorite moments from campaign 1 is during chroma conclaves first appearance and grog misses with his 19 attack roll and then just hits on 22. They were still fairly low level here so 19 on an attack roll is very high and their pure disbelief over it is a thing of beauty. It was such a great moment to show the sheer power difference between the group and this new formidable enemy. Shame you edited that out.
