I think my canary has the same problem with breathing. She is breathing fast and her tail is going up and down. I went to the vet and he gave her an antibiotic, enrofloxacin. This is the same as Baytril, only this one you need to give it directly into her mouth. Now, 15 days later, there is still no improvement. What do I need to do? Please help my canarie

…I use news paper, paper bags, and papertowels. I love how Summer, your yellow Kakariki bird, kicks the paper pellets to the side with her foot as she is foraging, at 12:00 So fancy. 😁 🌻💛

I was gifted a couple of 1-year-olds a few days ago. I immediately had their nails done but the female (a lutino like yours!) Did NOT handle it well and I thought she'd been squeezed too tight or even broke her leg or something... I was so worried she wasn't going to make the night but thankfully she pulled through ❤

Please do more quality control for the audio (maybe you do now -- I see this video is 5 years ago). I did turn subtitles on which helped some. As delightful as It is to hear all your birds chirping, they overshadow your voice, which is soft and soothing, and it is very difficult to understand what you're saying.

My new-to-me 2-1/2 year old adopted budgies (M & F) came to live with me just over 3 weeks ago. The female molted, the male didn't. Is this normal?

I use packing paper. I put it on top of the grate and change daily. I just can’t handle cleaning grates 😅

We use newspaper (and grocery store ads, etc.) or paper towels in the Cockatiel and Sun Conure cages. I took the grates out of their cages because they don't chew the paper as much. Our Budgies must have the grates because some of them chew more. Since they can't touch the lining, we often use sheets of cheap drawing paper or construction/craft paper.
