Donna - - I love the information you share and the care you give your birds. How do you have the time for all of them? You seem to do a good job and know all of your animals - - dogs, rabbits and birds - - but truly - - you have a full time job with them. I suppose they are your job if you create videos for KZbin.... There is a stainless steel birdbath/fountain in this video. Could you let me know where I could buy one? I have been looking for a non-plastic one for my cat. Thanks

I own a cockatiel but he would never let he him this way, if he had a blood feather he'd just fly around the room and not let me touch it.. 😢

He's singing like a budgie! Maybe he learnt the song from the other flock birds

LOVE this outdoor aviary. Where did you get the panels? The ones I've found are too heavy-duty, not the right size, and very expensive!

Love this outdoor aviary. Where did you find the panels for it? The only ones I've seen are incredibly expensive and heavier-duty than needed for grasskeets.

How do you clean him up after he eats? And how do you transition from baby food to adult food?

fireworks are the worst... They pollute the air, and earth, they scare animals and kids, they can cause injuries, and they are overall, annoying as hell. I wish people would use them in secluded places so that they dont disturb the peace of the rest of the world, but i guess thats too much to ask -_-

I got to tell you I've had plenty of birds and I love all my birds, but if there is a problem with the bird and you think there's a problem with a bird, you're deceiving yourself. Birds are perfect and they're great the way they are. The problem is always with a human. If you have a problem with your bird, what you need to do is work on yourself. That's what your bird is here to teach you on earth. They can buy they can drive you up the wall but in the end it's always a human problem not a bird problem

How does pulling out the blood feather help stop the bleeding? Will you please explain.
@ComplainingIsRecreation7 күн бұрын
A broken blood feather can bleed persistently because the blood vessel inside the shaft remains open. By removing the feather, you pull out the damaged shaft and its associated blood vessel, causing the small follicle at the base to clot and stop the bleeding.
@AngelStickman7 күн бұрын
@ Ahh, it was the part about the follicle that I did not know. Thank you kind stranger.
@alan620368 күн бұрын
Just take your bird to the vet
@HappyGingerWolf4 күн бұрын
Blood feathers can bleed very quickly, and they're not too troublesome to remove, so it's safer to do it yourself

It is as dangerous as it looks. When I had budgies, I simply visited vet - no matter how tiny or big problem. My fear to hurt them further becuse of inexperience was too big.
