I live in Inverness, and thoroughly enjoyed your interesting and very well researched quick tour of the interesting places in my own area. My daughter lives in Invergordon and can hear the ship's announcements from her garden. We are always fascinated to look out from her door and see the cruise ships when in port and then look on line to see which it is, and where it has come from and will be going to. I'll have a look for some of your other Guides, you may even tempt me into taking a cruise. Thanks Ian

Hi Ian! Thank you for your feedback, I appreciate it! It was my first time in Scotland and I absolutely loved it. I definitely plan to go back, not on a cruise but on vacation, and explore the entire country. You should consider taking a cruise, the great thing is that you stop in several ports which are usually located in different countries, so you get to taste a little bit of everything. :)

Thanks for the video. Very useful info, even if we're arriving in Salerno by train. We have a pretty good idea of what we want to do for the four full days (5 nights) we'll be there. If I can pull it off, cause I'll be with my wife and our soon to be 17 year old daughter, is to ride SITA Sud rout e5120 from Salerno stazione to Maiori to do bus photos there of other SITA Sud buses. It's on my transit fan bucket list to ride a bus on the Amalfi Coast. My wife and teen prefer taking the ferry or the Positano Jet to get to Amalfi from Salerno, better view of the coast and takes less time than the bus. ;)

Thank you for your feedback! :) Well, a ferry/boat ride along the coast is definitely the best way to see the Amalfi Coast. Very nice informative video - How far is nearest International airport & travel means to the same?
@AdventourBegins
@AdventourBegins 3 ай бұрын
Hi there! The nearest international airport to Kusadasi is Adnan Menderes Airport (ADB) in Izmir, located about 70 kilometers (around 43 miles) away. The driving time between the two locations is approx. 1 hour. The taxi is around 50 euros one way, although this varies, it's not an official price. Some private companies also provide shuttle buses, I suggest you search online and have a look. :) I hope this helps!

@@ChoChoWin-w4m Hi! It takes a few days to properly visit each place. If you are coming only for a day, it depends whether you are visiting on your own, if you have transportation arranged or you go by train, etc. Shore excursions often combine more place in a day, with limited time in each destination. But if you are going by train, you can combine Villefranche with only one destination, like Nice, Monaco, Antibes or Cannes. Nice is often combined with Eze village.

Hop on hop off can be used to stop at the airport as the last stop? I saw it as an excursion but worried about the luggage
@AdventourBegins
@AdventourBegins 4 ай бұрын
Hi! As far as I know, there's no Hop on Hop off that directly connects the airport and port. Some companies may offer airport transfer included in the price of a sightseeing tour, but that varies by the company. I would choose this option only if a cruise line offered it because in that case it's guaranteed they will take you to the port on time.

What's the best way to get from the port to the airport
@AdventourBegins
@AdventourBegins 4 ай бұрын
Hi there! There are several options. The most convenient and expensive one is by taxi, I don't know how much they charge but when I was traveling from the Airport to Athens city center they charged me 50 euros. The most affordable and very good option is by metro, the Blue Line 3 connects the port directly to the airport. There is also a bus line X96. I found this super useful article on the Airport's official page, it covers all transportation options from the port to the airport: athens-international-airport.com/transportation/airport-transfer-to-piraeus-port/

@AdventourBegins 5 ай бұрын
@@jasondelprado1562 No worries😊 Yes, the Old Town is called "Kaleici". In Kusadasi, it is really easy, the Old Town is only 5 minutes walk from the cruise terminal. You'll see narrow cobbled streets lined with many cute shops, and also a large square with a mosque. This square divides the Old Town area and the Bazaar. Bazaar is the "market", it's basically an open-air traditional Turkish shopping mall 😇 When I was there, I remember I crossed the street upon exiting the terminal, and the entrance to the Bazaar was already there. The Bazaar is not so big, so you won't get lost. The Old Town area is literally 5 minutes from there, a little bit to the left as I remember. Everything is really easy to find, Kusadasi is small. If you have time, walk to the fortress, maybe a 10-minute walk, you'll spot it from the ship. I hope this helps :)
